Sker Ritual is a horde shooter taking cues from things like the CoD Zombies game modes and Killing Floor. Each map has a long list of objectives to complete while fighting through waves of enemies and getting enough currency to unlock new routes and get new weapons and upgrades. The maps and objectives are the high point for me, lots of variety and atmosphere with some pretty good design to keep things flowing. The weapons are a little weak feeling at times but still not bad, and the upgrades have some nice visual flare. Combine that with the roguelite-inspired miracles system and you get a solid horde shooter where the map design keeps things interesting. I'd say the price is fair for what's on offer here.
