The Breeders live on stage at Slim's in San Francisco, New Year's weekend, 1997. This was the post-Amps incarnation of the band (with Jim Macpherson, Luis Lerma and Nate Farley), one which also included Carrie Bradley. These west coast holiday shows were also notable for having featured guest guitarist and singer Kattie Dougherty from the popular Dayton-based band Real Lulu, whom Breeder Jim Macpherson was also drummer for. Real Lulu's first single release "Hell" was in fact recorded by Kim Deal, at Dayton's famed Cro-Magnon Studios (the recording home of Guided By Voices for many years).
Audio on this camcorder footage is not of the highest quality, but is being shared as it does document a rare and interestingly special moment in both the band's and Dayton rock history.
Video from the archives of Amy Macpherson (and of which probably hasn't been viewed by anyone in nearly two decades)
