Don’t change anything about the videos, except maybe doing more of them. I believe when you use your humorous wit and wisdom to address serious issues, it makes Jesus and the Church loved more and understood better. I have 4 grown kids I send your videos to because I know if they give you a chance they will be inspired to stay in church. So far so good on that but I don’t want them to get lazy. God bless you, Fr. Brendan, and don’t change a thing.

Are we not all ‘practicing idiots’ throughout life? If anything Father, I enjoy the spontaneity of topics but in the end, you can’t please everyone. Nuance however is healthy, and that is what makes Catholicism beautiful: firm in values , truth, tradition yet overflowing with love, culture, liberty, compassion. Keep it up 👏🏽

This was another good one padre. Something has creeped in to the modern language, it started in England and slithered over to here. It is when people say something they say I'm sorry but.... I hate this. You have no need to be sorry when you are telling the truth.

I'm very comfortable with chaos, being a home-ed father of 5 wild young boys 😂. Keep up the spontaneity! I believe "eclecticism" is the way forward for the Church. The Church has so many different ways of praying, serving, loving. We need to tap into all of those. For example, it's sad how few Latin Mass goers are into the charismatic renewal, and vice-versa. Why not be tradmatics and get the best of both worlds? And it's sad how few Catholics will never venture to either a Latin Mass nor a charismatic prayer meeting, preferring to stay middle-of-the-road. Spread your wings folks; broaden your horizons; see where God leads you!

I love it...it's honest and real. I watched your video on trads vs libs...lol...it was awesome. There is such a battle going on right now here in the states over the ban on the latin Mass. My take is your go ahead have a latin Mass and ask forgiveness later. I haven't been to one, because the once closest is about an hour away and the time is such I'd never make it. Faith isn't a black and white thing. It is where the Lord calls you and sometimes it make no sense to some. This is where the Lord has called you and you say what he needs you to say. When he wants a change, he'll move you on. Perhaps those who are so annoyed with structure issue are the ones that need to be poked out of their comfort zone. :)....I loved your saying. "if you spot it you got it" ....gonna keep that one. Thank you for your work and for being true to who you are.

Fr. Brendan, since none of us can control either God or life, how can anyone expect you to impose peremptory strictures (or structures) on your soundings? May you continue, in tandem with the Holy Spirit, to go wither He wills!

Hate labels. It's the epitome of narrow-mindedness. Media likes to put people into sides...us or them. Likewise in the Church people are either with the status quo or they are 'traditionalists'.

Don’t change a thing Father the videos are great if I was gonna change them I’d make them longer, I wish I had your optimism or lack of cynicism though thinking that the other side will listen or even engage but I certainly applaud the effort and pray for its success. And a lefty Jesuit next you’ll be telling us there’s water out west that’s wet 😀 I’m looking forward to the next vid and conversation
