yeah, it sucks when an alcoholic relapses and drags the whole tour down with him.. He sick; no bad - I hope he gets help. I think he is. Been off twitter for two months, Wish him well -- he was sick, not bad. --though he played badly that night hha... saw him a year earlier. in US -- looked fit and trim but not drunk think. We chatted for a minute. He was cheerful onstage and gave a great performance -- though to them it was probably just another good night's work. The reason he appears so thin in these recent videos is because he's drinking A LOT again. I think it started almost as soon as this tour began for some reason. He's also on metal health meds.....so thank God for mental illness meds" JMHO thanks.
lol This poor girl. You got Gion looking crazy in his tiny glasses... and a shirtless Anton being welll... Anton... She hopefully knew what she was signing up for lol
Great interview, but attempting to edit the audio levels must've been an absolute nightmare. Get this gal some lav mics to clip on these types of subjects that think the mic is just there as a fashion accessory. 😁
he wouldn't live another seven years -- he better get help and pick up the pieces of his career and life. Hopefully, he gets it together -- he better!....he's always singing about never giving up and perseverance and giving it his all. Well, it's either booze or music -- he can't have both,, for real. He's been off twitter two months, since the "incident," - i can imagine how embarrassed he is -- it was no "party," he'll admit. He hated how he came across in Dig. If you saw the movie, you'll recall his "mentally ill alcoholic;'s"" parting words before he killed himself on Anton's birthday.: that he hoped Anton didn't end up like him. At the same time, I can understand why folks are pissed off -- they pay lotsa money to see him, and they want their money's worth. You know, he kept giving their money's worth, through the UK and US twice, Europe. South America, and then it all came crashing down in Melbourne! That's way too much and way too long for a band of this status.....His dad said he hoped Anton before killing himself on his birthday.. They over-toured, Anton relapse and in a they'll be playing "something
@@johnholcomn8560 Anton, a recovering alcoholic for 13 years, apparently relapsed back onto booze somewhere on this endless, horrible tour of fall 2023. Let's hope he's on a long vacation with his family and receiving treatment for his alcoholism and mental health issues. I can understand how angry folks were -- but frankly, the crowd, which was huge, heckled Anton to the point of exhaustion. Folks hurled bottled water onstage. But Anton walked out drunk. Hopefully, in a year, Anton will have put out another record and this will be just another BJM debacle. Also, Anton is 56. (I'm 64) He' just can't go on long he used to. It will kill him. He knows that. He's sick -- not bad -- trying to get well. Let's wish him well. JMHO thanks.
Well.Maybe Anton should dabble in the opiates again.I am older, off and on the opiates and I he speed for years and years also was at tim s an alcoholic..... anyway...after prison and years and years of treatments, I've discovered THIS: I KNOW MYSELF.KBOW THYSELF
@@Andi-h4l maybe... There's logic to both options. I wouldn't bet my life on it and to dabble really ain't something the recovering opiate addict was ever good at.
Mia, you did great!! I imagine it was cringe and I love that you held your own. It's so rude how he spoke down to you as a kid, and you came out on top❤
@@casecockrell1270 oh I've watched dig!. That's how most know of this band. It's hard to watch an old guy act the same way. I mean let's be honest.. he could break a hip at this point
