Bride Lucy is stunned by this dress from Harrods but her sister absolutely hates it, will the sisters ever agree? Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
Agree. The one she chose looked so much better on her. The sister was right; the wildcard dress would not flatter too many people, imo. Maybe the original wearer of the dress was an exception.
Everyone is calling the Harrod's dress horrendous...I didn't think it was so bad - it would look FAB on the right woman, but I did think the first dress suited her perfectly and I'm so glad she went with it :-) And I'm glad she told her sister in no uncertain terms that it was her OWN choice and she really didn't give a rat's what anyone else thought...YOU GO, GIRL!!! :-D
This is my favorite episode. So beautiful and special, particularly the connection with the seller. She looked spectacular. That necklace looked perfect with it.
Perfect choice, and the sister deserves a massive "thank you" for keeping the bride's focus on the aesthetic and emotional value of a dress. And anyone who paid that much for a Harrods wedding dress, and is now selling it at ¼ the cost, is either in desperate financial troubles, or in massive regret. Or both, because the Harrods dress looks like a giant, cheap, mesh loofah. Jesus. 👁
I love to watch the consultant, she chose the pre-loved wedding gown and yet it is stunning. I wonder how does she find all these brides. Please do more on this consultant!
The first dress looked so good on her! The dress from Harrod’s would be beautiful if the bottom fluff was exchanged for something that was in the same theme as the top part.
Well I'm not thrilled with options she had but she chose the best one of them! That dress even tho simple, made her look like a princess! Happy for the bride :)
You can barely see the bride to be in that Harrod's dress! It totally swallowed her up. There isn't even room for her grandfather to walk beside her. The poor man would wind up getting entangled up in all that fluff; and her groom would need a weed-whacker to get him out!
This is seriously amazing like the dress!!! But I’m my opinion only because of where I am from Randy is AMAZING at dress designing and motivation for women to buy the dress ❤️❤️❤️
What in the heck is wrong with her sister?!? I love the Harrod’s dress on her! Edit: I’m glad she chose the one she chose - there was an emotional connection between hers and the seller’s circumstances so I think that was meant to be.
I wish I could see her in that fitted dress though, that looks gorgeous. Good choice on the princess dress though, that very expensive one looked ridiculously awful anyways.
She should've gone with the quality dress. All she had to do was alter it, to fit her. There's a reason it's pricier and that's the quality of the materials used.
I think the one she picked look perfect on her. She’s happy her wedding.Sister had a little to much attitude for me but looks like she’s know how to deal with it. “You’ll always love your sister” (My Mother’s favorite ) and she’s still whispers it in my ear even though she’s long gone) and my sister and I still roll our eyes and laugh.
I never understand when people compare dresses to toilet roll holders. That's an expression you hear a lot of these programs. Toilet roll holders are usually silver metal handles. I assume they mean toilet brushes?
