I went to Marist College, Patty was a few years above me. Looked up to him then as a freak athlete, so great to watch him grow as a basketballer and as elite human being. Absolute legend perfectly representing both Australia and Indigenous culture. So good to watch him on the Nets, perfect fit! Killing it Bala!

It's crazy how in this modern age these guys are grouped together. Just think: these guys were perennial postseason adversaries. Blake in LA, KD in OKC, LMA and Patty in SA, Harden in HOU, etc. It's crazy.
I couldn't stand Patty Mills when he went against my Nets because he was such a difference maker on both ends of the floor. Now he's a Brooklyn Net and I'm loving every minute he's on the floor. ✅✅✅💯💪🏾

I work in a school in AU. A few weeks ago we had a non-uniform day. I passed a young kid wearing a Nets shirt and said, ‘Love your shirt. Do you know who plays for the Nets?’ He grinned at me and said, “Yep, Patty Mills!’ Great role model for our Aussie kids, too!

As a spurs fan I always said after we lost to the heat in the finals we needed patty he hurt his shoulder on that one. That next year he was healthy and he made a lot of clutch shots in that 2014 championship run. Nets definitely got a gem!!!!
That moment with Patty and Big Joe Ingles still brings tears to my eye. I don't think people fully understand what winning a medal (even a bronze) means to Australian basketball, it kind of confirms our legitimacy as a basketballing nation.
Patty has been great. The reason why his offense has not been good last few games is not having Kyrie because in the second unit when Kevin and James need a break Patty has been that playmaking guard but that's caused him to have to sacrifice his ability to be in the corners to hit threes. Hopefully Brooklyn will utilize Patty's shot making skills more
