World War II veteran Clovis Lamy purchased this 40-seat diner from the Worcester Lunch Car Company, a renowned New England diner manufacturer. In April 1946, Lamy opened the diner in his hometown of Marlborough, Massachusetts. It quickly became a popular spot for local factory workers to grab lunch and for folks to enjoy dinner after a movie.
