A lot is always said about the great sound engineering of these KEXP videos - and for good reason. But how about the decision to not switch cameras every .8 seconds like pretty much every other live music video that is out there. I try to watch live concerts of any festival shows, or anything else and they can't focus on one shot for more than a split second. And I end up feeling that I never actually saw anything. Thank you KEXP for being all about quality.

They are like a world wide indie music distro/marketing/exposure machine now with this channel and millions of subs. They deserve it. So many great bands, so many great studio shows, and I live out in SE Asia and I'll link something to my friends in various countries here and they'll be like "Yeah! Totally saw it already! So awesome!" It used to confuse me, now it just delights me.

I was in the audience for this performance. They didn't give a specific reason why he didn't join, but they had a show that night (I think at the Moore) and I suspect he was saving his voice for that show.

If this performance was prior to their show at the Moore in November 2023, then Paul was likely saving his voice for that night. I went, and they were phenomenal.
