The post apocalyptic setting was very creative, and left room for the audience to wonder what came before. The tidbits about the historians and their masters, traveling time flows and all that made it feel like a fleshed out world. The description of the brooding star monster was amazing and shackles the imagination with morbid fascination. Good stuff!

I couldn't really conceptualize the idea of temporal storms or fluctuating, localized time currents. Not in any meaningful way at least. But I was able to paint the picture, as aggravating as it was. The whole dead world with a ravaged atmosphere, and a rich history of extraterrestrial intervention was super cool, though.

So, am I the only one who thinks this is about Azathoth and not Cthulu? Cause Cthulu is under the ocean, not in space, and Azathoth is the one made out of tentacles and eyes

Yog Sothoth wouldn't bother punishing a single human for screwing with a single plan. He's got plans for days, I suppose if this was the most successful and he had what he wanted, this guy could have killed his pet human. Azathoth has no capacity for spiteful vengeance, since our reality appears to be a dream of his.

Well, the best thing about the Mythos is that this doesn't have to be any Outer God or Great Old One we know about. It could potentially be Cthulhu, but I doubt humanity's had contact with 1% of Mythos entities, and Yog-Sothoth or Azathoth would essentially be like us trying to torture a bacterium. Either way, seems safe to assume this is after the Stars came Right, given humanity's near-extinction and the dissolution of the laws of physics, so Earth's fair game for whomever.

MrCreepyPasta is different from other narrators bc he is not afraid to get loud and intense and doesn’t focus on being soothing all the time. If the story is crazy and intense he follows suit. He reads very fast and yet with a good cadence and without sacrificing enunciation. Additionally, he does some narrations I have not heard anywhere else... Because they are so weird and intensely gory... Too much so for many narrators. I enjoy his videos in a different way than other narrators. It’s more of an edge of your seat kind of experience than most others out there. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, same. I love the works of Lovecraft so much that I bought the H. P Lovecraft Necronomicon, which is a collection of his greatest works. I'd highly recommend it.

DigbyTheGoat Google play app Cthulhoid it's free and has most all his works, essays, revisions, collaborations, poetry, youth writings etc etc . if not a true fan yet you will be shortly. May need an E reader also but it will sugest one if u don't have one. (Written, and audio) I haven't tried the audio I just read his works. Its a true treasure chest

I don't think this is about Azathoth or Cthulhu. Azathoth isn't awake. He's never awake. Otherwise the universe can't exist, because it only exists in his dreams. And Cthluhu is the ocean, not space.

I have some questions about this story, maybe a fellow listener will see this and tell me if i understood properly. If I'm not too wrong the story is as follows; The brooding star showed up at one point and essentially ruined earth. A hundred or so years later the story starts following a dad and his son. Dad goes out to scavenge for something and discovers a place housing a robed figure who claims to be his son. The son tells his father that he can end the earth if he kills him right there. Having lost track of time The father now having no choice but to die from the environment or to take up the robed figures offer he kills the figure. Moments later the brooding star reawoke or something and see me quite agitated. The man closed his eyes to accept his fate and when he opened his eyes he Was in some parallel earth (possibly an earth not too long after the arrival of the brooding star) that he thinks is paradise until he hears scurrying noises implying some monsters live there now. The father is now in some purgatory where he is forced to relive the moments that lead him to where he is now every seven years. That's the story right? Did I miss anything?

This happened to me not so long ago and it is true: It was night time. I couldn't sleep this was normal because I didn't really like to sleep. I went downstairs to get my iPad, I didn't turn on the lights so my parents don't suspect that I'm downstairs. I look outside of the kitchen window....I saw a black figure with eyes that glowed orange in the back of my garden but what was weird because it at the back of the garden and we have a light that reacts to movement. I ran into the corridor, at the stairs i could see the same exact thing in the corner of my living room. I ran upstairs faster with the iPad in my hand and I locked the door. After a while of watching stuff on my iPad I heard footsteps outside of my bedroom door. I looked outside to see if the bathroom lights were on....they weren't on and those were the first pair footsteps I heard. I quickly went to my room locking the door again. Then I heard knocking and scratching at my door seconds later. After they stopped I looked up to my window from bed only to see that thing standing there watching me, then disappeared. This was happening all in an hour. After the thing disappeared I looked at the clock...I was exactly 4:00am....

Honestly, it could have been either, both, or something man knows absolutely nothing about. A big part of what makes cosmic horror so frightening is the fact that anything bigger than a glimpse of the truth means madness and death, or mutation into something inhuman. These are Gods. They don't owe humanity any answers, because for the most part they don't notice us.

So, I don't know why but these creepypastas that are written in such a way that imitates Poe or Lovecraft's poetic writing rarely come out great. At least IMO, they just seem to bore me after a while.
