I think Phil should have grabbed the Glacial Chasm with the Reshape, since it stops both sides of the Avenger long enough for him to untap.

I’m sad Crim didn’t forgemaster into PDE, sacrifice it to the KCI, then unearth it and meld, sweeping the thopters and blowing up the cityscape leveler. I saw the line and I was hoping so much, but unfortunately it didn’t come to pass

Phil, pretty sure you could have won if you didn't just hover over that Glacial Chasm. would have prevented all damage to you, including the pinging from Sardian Avenger.

If Phil had gotten the Chasm, would have been a very different story. Chasm prevents all damage so wouldn't save from the Mishra, but could have done everything else without worry. Also would have been worth paying for a turn or two for the free turns to try and fight back. Sadness.

Fanfic writers get on it, I want the story of a scrappy goblin uncovering the plot of the phyrexians and uniting the brothers against a common foe. Although thinking about it having two asshole artificers running around Dominaria might have been worse in the long run.

Feels like pretty much allways tomer is unhappy about getting picked on until everybody goes after someone else and than tomer pops of... Said about Phils misplay with the tracker into the Avenger. Titania would have at least gave him one blocker and the chance of flicking here.... But I can see why the value is clouding allways

In regards to Phil's question about Mastermind's Acquisition, before exile became a zone the old wishes actually worked that way, outside the game meant sideboard or exile in competitive play.

Masterminds can't get a card in exile, compare to Karn. Outside the game doesn't include exile, exile is a game zone. That wasn't always the case.

Opponents having removal wouldn't have saved Seth from being attacked, he had plenty of stuff to just replay it. Crim had plenty of removal in his deck.

Crim could have won if he would have grabbed phyrexian dragon engine. when he searched for bolas citadel. It has unearth, so he could cast it then unearth it which gives it haste then attacked with the meld and wiped Tomers board with melded mishra attack triggers

I feel like Seth is taking the wrong thing out of the game with his wrap up. Gix's pseudo-Eadric isn't the thing that drew the agro. It's his activated ability. Free cards off the top is basically always archenemy worthy. That it's taking *your opponents* cards off the top also adds salt.

Perfectly lore accurate, Urza, during the war against Mishra, did in fact get on a mechanical sphinx and proceded to explode into projectile sharding while midair all over the battlefield. That polluted the verdant lands of Argoth and its inhabitants, who were under him as he sharded away towards his destiny and beyond, and understandably angered a soiled Titania. That's why he activated the Golgothian Sylex afterwards, to cover the tracks and get rid of the evidence.

Crim could have got the dragon engine with the forgemaster instead and sacrificed it to the ironworks and unearthed it with haste , meld and than -1/-1 all of tomers thopters and the sardian avenger would have killed tomer.

I feel like Phil should have won this hands down. So many questionable plays, I am sorry to say I do not know which specific one I would need to point out here. I guess picking the Lotus Field was one of the big ones I have not seen mentioned in the comment section. That was so awkward. But it was just one among many.
