But they didnt add any power...its just a pretty car to show off and thats it. My shitty 08 E60 Wagon will drag this through the mud...i spent my money on the turbos and straight pipes. Fuck the wheels unless its donuts I think this is a senseless upgrade. Real racers go for engine then body..not the other way around.
C Los agreed i mean tires are important lol. Dont wanna be spinning through gears. I imagine he has some type of future plans with the car forge internals and turbos are not cheap lol
180,000 miles, still strong and looking gorgeous still. A testament to Infiniti quality and VQ bloodline. My 12 xS sedan with 170,000 runs like a cheetah with its ass on fire and ticks like a Rolex. If you ask me, being forced by the EPA to reduce displacement and twin turbo charging ushered in the end of the longevity of those beloved VQs. Beautiful G my man. Living the dream.
Agreed but the fucking fenders are shit they rust so bad least up here in canada, even with under spray. Think they had a recall up here aswell for the fenders rusting
Nice! F the haters. Just got my g37xs With 50k on it. About to be my new best friend for years to come. Coming from an 07 speed 3 for 5 years and 210k on it. A wrx swapped gc8 for 4. And back to the G! Had one in 09. Any car will last long with minimal and proper mods, LOVE AND CARE.
I ordered a g37 6mt from carvana I get it in a few days. Used to have a g35. Got the g35 with only 80,000 miles. Then it started eating a quart of oil every 2 days not long after buying. Oil made it burn a valve. Then I looked on carfax and found out the odomiter was reset. So it had like 280,000 miles.
A lot of hard work great job. Wide body panels look a bit funky being so tall in the rear. g37 is not cheap to do anything on. I'm at 125k with no issues.
Imo g37 is one of the sexiest car ever. I'm getting out of the whole dropping and rims and all. Moving towards the luxury scene now, hoping for a lexus ls460 in the next few years.
Agree! I'm 43 and I feel like My 2008 infiniti M45 Sport fits me better. It's A Luxury Sport Sedan. Best of both worlds, plus more mature looking then a G37 sedan IMO!
I thought the car looked dope I was surprised by the comments. Also he said it was a journey which is a sport. That’s not true since the journey is not an S package but in reality the car is probably a journey with the sport package. That would explain the paddle shifters. Yes, you can get a journey with an S package, you can even get an X with a sport package.
Ya_Boii_Jay the gauges in the G37S (Sport) has red needles, and I think comes in the Aluminum interior trim. The G37 Journey has a wood trim I think. Annddd I don’t think the Journey has the paddle shifters.... someone check me on the last two
BRAKEaNEKkidz there’s actually a huge difference as the s model has a different front facia, special leather stitching in seats with seat extension, navigation and map control, sport suspension, big akembo brakes, better looking rims at 19inch. Etc... coming from a actual owner of a 08 model.
Journey isn't a base model, the base model differs on features from the journey for example the journey has a rear camera, bluetooth for calls only, heated seats, navigation system and a sunroof I had a g37 base model wich i didn't know existed, fuckin sucked but i sold it due to reliablity problems
The base model can’t have S edition only the journey model can have the Sport package and that’s what he has is the journey with the sport package if the car is AT otherwise the 6SM has everything the S package has plus an actual stick. Those brakes that come with that car are fuckin nice
CORRECTION: It was the early G35’s that consumed oil not the later ones. Once Nissan went to the HR motor, there was no more oil consumption or timing chain guide issues.
If its a VQ, it consumes oil. Dont try to protect a reputation that doesn't exist for these engines. My g37 coupe drinks oil. And so does every other g37 i know around the area.
Xavier Sanchez Maybe it skipped a generation then. No VQ35HR I’ve ever known or owned consumed oil. We had an 08 G35 sedan for almost 5 years and put 78k miles on it and sold it with 206k miles. It never consumed a drop of oil! I drove it hard often too!
its 330 bhp factory standard on 93, which is not " to the crank". No manufacturer quotes anything other than post transmission power, and have not done so since these guys where in diapers (just 20 years ago). So how much do these dudes know? fun though.
Communication experts will tell you that it's best to use I statements like I think or I feel. speak only for yourself and avoid value judgements. instead of "this is better or worse" you say" I think this is better"
The G 35 coupe looks better than the 37 overall but indeed the interior in the 35 is extremely dated. The 37 still keeps a modernized interior for the most part.
So you added a ton of cosmetic work but nothing under the hoood? LOLzzzzzzzzz why!?!?!? Why not throw you cash at the engine or a TURBO?! My sleeper E60 Wagon looks like Im taking the kids to the park or a going to church with the family..until G35'S and G37s try to get dirty! Just took one to a new place by my house..>Gapplebees? I think its called. All jokes aside, great job on the design and execution but I think that could of well gone to a turbo upgrade or a nice straight pipe set up...not my cup of tea.
Eddy Rootines an 08 and I love it. Though not the bumpers were created equally haha. I liked the sport and IPL bumpers front the 2010 and up models. I won’t lower mine but I’ll probably wrap the car and redo the rims to make them look new. But that’s about it. I’m working on performance first.
Dude I almost gave you thumbs up, but all those stickers guy, come on, wtf! Are you getting paid by them? Because that car should be kept clean, you're making it k like a ricer and race car. clean it up and take off those stickers please.
I had a 08 g37s bought it brand new and it definitely came from factory with paddle shifters. Magnesium paddle shifters are a factory option on all g37 08 and up.
