For people obtaining arceus via BDSP after completing legends and obtaining arceus there. I just want to add that you will need to obtain the national dex in BDSP by seeing all of the Pokémon in the sinnoh dex and talking to professor Rowan before going to Mt cornet with the azure flute.
Good stuff as always! Great point about just being able to change Arceus' type for whatever raid you need to beat. This build is a Swiss army knife for Tera Raids!
Fun fact arceus is one of the best supporting mons theyve added aswell. Behind mew he can learn basically any weathers, both screens, acid spray, thw terrains, and with the freakish stat pool he has he survives extremely well. And if you just leave him at normal type for support he only has 1 weakness then
Osirus, you might want to review the information you said that Arceus' Judgement loses its plate-type (and goes back to normal type) when it terastalizes. I think it's not the case at all! To me it keeps saying it's super-effective even after terastalizing! I have transfered 18 Arceus that I caught in BDSP! One has each tera-type! It's amazing!
Still i think you cant defeat every tera raid. There are some like gyarados or Salamence who get moxie ability so they hit like a truck after deaths of your AI teammates, also have a different types of attacks so it really depends on their tera.
I finally got around to doing this, bringing in my Arceus from BDSP, and setting him up. I took him for a test run and it worked very well. Great to have a one-size-fits-all Pokémon for raids. 😀 Thanks Lee!
great video lee thanks, been using mewtwo and mew just cause they are my favorite but this one will be up there for sure. great top too congrats on a fantastic season
This works for like 99% of the 6 Star Tera out there! So far I've encountered only one where Arceus cant beat a 6 star raid by itself and thats a Fire Heracross with Moxie. The thing gets its attack boosts up SO quickly knocking out all the crappy computer helpers during your setup that by the time you do anything it can OHKO you with a Megahorn.
The Pixie Plate was way further in the bag because I think the items are by default arranged by generation in it. The other Plates are Gen 4 Items and the Pixie Plate is a Gen 6 Items.
Thanks Lee. This was awesome. I’m really neck-deep into tears of the kingdom right now, but I can’t wait to try this when I get back to SV. Thanks again.
I think indigo disk has made this better with how the Stellar type works. I yhink this means if you got a stellar tera type arceus you can get a tera boosted judgement of the type of your plate. Which makes this so much stronger.
I tested this with the 7 Star Iron Bundle raids three times and after many defeats because of bad teammates and those three wins I can see it's very, very situational. Before with the Normal tera type I was able to pretty much clear the shield easily, but after switching to Stellar it seems like it's really only just the sort of "Base" pokemon that really gets any big damage dealt. I've had some times where it actually carried a lot, but with most of those defeats this setup really felt like I was the one getting carried by my battle members? Maybe this guy can create a setup similar to this but focusing on the Stellar tera type, but otherwise I think I might just stick with the Normal tera type with this one
@gasmisenfeik875 that's fair I tried the Iron bundle 7 star solo and got it first time. Granted I had an assisting npc pokemon with life dew. Then I used it on a 6 star grass dragalge and did it first try solo there too. Could just be a hit and miss.
The problem isn't steel types... the problem is any time you come across a tera raid where the only types that are super effective are also gonna get shredded by the tera pokemons attacks... those are always brutal battles.
Im not sure if it was hacked or some shit, but I genuinely, kid you not, joined a 5 star raid with a dude named garfield, and he had a SHINY ARCEUS. Believe me when I say this, he had a yellow arceus (not from the plates).
Between all the types, which one do you think is best (or rather no other Pokémon can cover) at this moment? I want to change Tera type to something matching the plate but not sure what.
@@CdogThePro I do like the fighting option but I feel like special fighting is already covered by Iron Valiant. So, something like Ground or Poison or Ghost or Water. Those don’t have amazing special attackers.
I'm so happy I got the shiny Arceus in Japan. Sadly, it just got wrecked by a 6* Gardevoir, every single moonblast lowered my stat, insane rng, then nullified my stats at then end of the fight and knocked me out ending the raid with the time chop off, it was very not fun.
Has anyone got any advice on the best way to get the stats the same as in the video please? Very knew to this side of the games and would love to learn! Many thanks 😊
Pretty sure Terastallizing doesn't change Judgement's type. I was doing test raids with it last night, and Judgement didn't get the tera boost animation when used and was still super effective against the raid boss.
you can't using a status move (such as fake tears or metal sound), but you can if it's a damage-dealing attack move that lowers stats as a secondary effect (such acid spray)
I chose to use Iron Hands for all 6 star Raids, but this is clearly better. U rely on the belly drum boost to keep u alive but that boost oftzen gets erased. And to set up another one while being half live or while the shield is up usually means u fail the den on ironhands. U dont have that here...
Really grasping at straws but what about the really bulky mons like blissey for instance that tanks judgement and also those that while you are SE vs its tera type what about those whos natural type and stab moves annihilate arceus?
you're right that he somewhat overstated his case by saying "EVERY...EASILY" in the title. it's still one of the most versatile builds that can succeed against a higher percentage of all the species/teratype combinations than just about anything else. beating blissey with arceus might require making a second physical build (very doable with arceus's base stats and move pool). the typing scenario you described is addressed by the fact that in most cases you have options for SE, and when you don't or they all have weaknesses, you can drop the SE for neutral damage with resistance and just buff/cheer a bit more.
And for all things good please stop bringing in charizards, azumarills, iron hands and gyarados into 6 star raids i promise they arent as op as you think. Even if you bring in just an annihilape and spam screech that will help more then anything
Ah yes, the most expensive Tera raider in the game who slurps Tera crystals like it's your birthday (IF you want to max out the damage), Arceus. I actually built my BDSP RKS for raids without jank, and the one from Legends:Arceus is Tera Ground and frequents the Pixie plate for that Fae InterCopium Ballistic Missile levels of damage.
Just stumbled upon this video. Wouldn't it have difficulty dealing big damage to a Pokemon with high SpD? Like the upcoming Blissey Tera Raid event we would want a physical attacker in that specific case.
Osiris, I have a question: Can the Arceus from the Toys R Us Event remember Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, and Shadow Force when sent into Scarlet and Violet? I do want to get the Plates in my Violet, but I'm concerned that it might not Remember those moves.
Ive so far managed to defeat all raids. Some had to restart a few times. But there was only one i didnt. It was a 6 star gardevoir with dragon tera. Moonblast, Charm, Calm Mind and Mistry Terrain. It just killed anyone i put out. Would you have a suggestion?
@@Themetaldad the best counters to moxie are clear smog (reset his stats), haze (reset everyone's stats), charm / feather dance (negate the buff incrementally), iron defense (tolerate the high attack), gastro acid (eliminate moxie)
I've send over the Arceus I got from Legends Arceus, but the woman at the auction is just standing there but doens't sell me anything. How can I fix this?
