Early scene from "The Bushbaby" in which Jackie comes to realize that soon she'll be parted from her childhood home, as well as her new friend, Komba the bushbaby. Film based on William H. Stevenson's novel, "The Bushbabies" and directed by John Trent. Featuring Margaret Brooks, Lou Gossett, Donald Houston and Laurence Naismith.

Always good to see Donald Houston (1923 - 1991), a talented Welsh who unfortunately does not seem to be well known outside of the U.K. For me, Houston will always be Hydarnes, the forthright but loyal commander of the Immortals from “The 300 Spartans” (1962). Houston also has a memorable role in “Where Eagles Dare” (1968) as a British traitor who falls to his death from a moving tram after losing a fight - with fellow Welsh actor Richard Burton!

This movie is nearly in the public domain range, only 1 more year. I don't think anyone will mind it if you upload this movie.... I wanna see it...

SYLAQ Hello, sorry for the delayed response. I actually planned to upload the entire film with optional subtitles in Spanish; I am against piracy, but since this film has fallen into oblivion, piracy would help give it a boost, possibly inciting WB to give it a proper home video release. Sadly, it will have to wait. I have moved halfway across the world and I lack the necessary equipment to do it right now. But will try soon. I do have a black and white video file.

@crazy3d Despite being a relatively major MGM release back in 1969, released in a few countries overseas as well (Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil and others), very few people know that it exists. Its last home video release was back in 1993, under the MGM/UA brand. Though I am entirely against film piracy and respect intellectual property rights, I intend to upload the entire film to give it exposure. I doubt MGM or the rights owner will be too quick to make a claim. Unfortunately, I'm having some issues capturing the film in its true color because of some technical issues.
