i think he just forgot about it bc there's definitely one episode where a girl goes in to push the button just a millisecond too late and right as she hits it it goes back to blue. im pretty certain he reacted to that and it was super cringe, so im surprised he didn't remember
I know you were probably half joking about the bed covers thing at the start but that little monologue you did genuinely made me feel miles better about finding it difficult to do lmao. I struggle with it a lot and sometimes it feels like everyone else in the world has their shit together and I'm just an idiot
Most of the button presses aren't even from the presser rejecting the other person. It's just the presser being afraid the other person will press it so they panic and press it.
I fucking lost it when that guy said “so… do you like The Cure?” like there’s no way he wasn’t trolling but the timing of it and the sheer unexpectedness had me cackling like a witch. I hope we see him on another episode
I mean, I didn't love the first girl's vibe but wanting a monogamous relationship is valid. Also Pi(?) was really cute and at least tried to vibe with everyone. She put in an effort even when the vibe was off.
yeah but she didnt even say "oh im looking for a monogamous relationship" she said stuff like "it caught me off guard" which is basically just admitting youre not cool with sex workers and poly people off the bat and youre not willing to try or get to know them. like maybe she just wanted a monogamous relationship but she didnt say that so it gets a red flag w me because the only explanation she gave was feeling uncomfortable because of them, yknow? i felt such relief when pie called that out tbh
@@mea2429 How is it wrong to be uncomfortable in a situation and not voice it perfectly. How is it toxic to have your own preferences?? I don't want to date someone who is poly or a sex worker because we would'nt have the same values. That doesn't mean I don't respect em...
@@mea2429 Bro didn't you literally write it was toxic? Did you edit your comment? Also why is it iffy to not want to be in a relationship with a sex worker or to want a monogamous partner? Like ofc she's gonna "judge" them right away. It's the button, that's the whole point of the show. And she just said it caught her off guard, idk what else she was supposed to say, it wasn't even rude. She was respectful. She didn't even say it made her uncomfortable or that it was weird. Idk I find it iffy that you judge her for clearly being abit shy and not knowing exactly what to say. Why would she try and get to know them if their values are completely different? Like if this was a friendship show I'd also say the same as you but this is a dating show and not dating a sex worker or poly person is completely reasonable because these traits directly affect the relationship unlike a hobby for example. The girl with pink hair also added how she isvery sexual and likes to sleep with just about anyone, which is fine to her and cool but I wouldn't want this type of person in a relationship. I'm Demisexual and I need the connection and I need my partner to be on the same page. There was no reason for pie to "call that out" because there was nothing wrong with that.
It wasn't about her "deserving" anything. The girl was intimidated by her and already visibly insecure *because* she's stunning, so it's understandable that knowing she's a sex worker would be a deal breaker. She'd constantly feel insecure. 🤷🏻♀️ When I worked as a stripper I'd hit it off with guys up until they found out what I did for a living, you just have to accept that it's gonna make a lot of people uncomfortable or jealous/insecure.
the other girl deserves to have preference. if she does not want to date somebody in that profession, which is completely understandable and valid, she deserves the right to reject them. it is not about “deserving” it
@@ava8146 Yeah, and also, whether or not she "deserves" rejection is unrelated to how "stunning" she is. There were reasons and none of them was that Sapphire wasn't attractive enough. I couldn't date a sex worker either, and it's not because I have any problem with the profession. I just have trust issues and it would constantly stress me and damage the relationship. That's my problem but people should know themselves and what they can deal with 🤷🏻♀️
I was like what the actual fuck bro. This guy is serious but you know what for me. I'm a sexual guy and I love sex and everything about it. So if a girl wasn't into sex, I probably would have immediately pressed the button too if she wasn't kinky enough to do fetish things.
When the heelys guy pressed the blue button, my husband literally got up and walked out of the room. He legitimately cannot handle the physical pain that comes with the cringe of watching The Button.
For the duvet cover I crawl inside the cover, grab the blanket at the corners and stand up in a star shape and wiggle my body until my hands hit the corner of the cover and then I lay flat on the bed and wiggle out and put the end corners of the blanket into the comets and zip it up. Like a duvet slug.
Cody complaining about making the bed is the most accurate relatable thing ever… like that’s the exact sequence of events when I have to change the bed sheets.
Yes 100%, every single time. And i change them often so the sequence of events and thought process he described is a super common occurrence in my household. I never do it instantly, always procrastinate till its super late 😭☠
Dude they should definitely let Cody do the button voice on an episode and just say all the outlandish shit that he does in these videos to freak them out
@@GhostkillerPlaysMC whoa google translate says that also means "follow", which would make total sense lol 🤔 random but interesting! (I know you were saying the correct way to spell it, but hit translate & here we are, I learned something new today 😁)
I quite literally can't physically handle watching the button episodes alone, thank you kody for your service. (Edit) so yeah um about the typo... I'm just an idiot
When Cody said, “Hannah, why’d you do that??” And the button said exactly that, I gasped so loud my dog woke up and looked so concerned about me 😂😂😂 that was a great moment
Wow, that whole rant from Cody about having to change your bedsheets was very accurate and relatable . Haven't really heard someone else describe it so accurately before or try to describe it at all 😂
The second hand embarrassment from the Heelys dude pressing the button like an anime villain going "You know what?" was too much. Thanks for making it bearable Cody
The Heelys dude was so insecure like, they didn't say anything bad?? Like? Bro, calm down. xD They recognized the shoes *without* the wheels, what do you mean you're looking for a partner who understands the Heelys? xD
Right ?? At first I thought maybe he knew the button wasn't on and was joking but then he fully committed n it was like😟😟 pie was so right to press the button on him
I was so dumbfounded when the dude pressed the button over heels joke that I gasped and farted at the same time. My whole body gasped for air from laughter. Love weed gummies and the button combined
I think all the people on this stupid show just expect dating and relationships to be all spark, all the time. They expect there to be an immediate spark, and for that to be sustained the whole duration that they're dating the other person. They have no idea that a lot of dating and being in a relationship is friendship and just palling around with the other person, with holding hands and kissing and sex and romance just as a few extra plusses. It's really elevated friendship
Yea im flabbergasted everytime i see these like they’re not even trying man, just being childish and trying to reject the other before the other rejects them
@@psycherevivedby that may be true most of the time if you’ve actually spent a substantial amount of time getting to know someone (which, if we’re going off of this show, is someone you met on a dating app, cause this is Tinder in person, essentially), and there’s still no spark. But if you’ve just met someone, and within seconds of talking to them, or in the context of this show, asking them questions but never telling them anything about yourself, and then just dismissing them out of hand without giving them a fair chance, is extremely rude and hasty. You just met the person a minute ago! Hold your horses
I really feel like the Heely guy was doing a bit, the timing of that joke just was perfect and then he ends his performance by asking of the date listens to The Cure. If not a bit, I am genuinely terrified.
I’d love to see a version of the button where the person who buzzes leaves the conversation instead of staying. It’d make people get to know eachother and not go off appearance immediately..
Definitely! I think a lot of people hit the button just so they dont get it hit on themselves first lol like kill or be killed mentality n they just wanna keep going
Cody's hair looks amazing in this video. He finally got the hair part right and the length is perfect. Before it was parted waaay too far to the side. This is much better.
Dude was profoundly hilarious. Really hope he’s included again one day and we can continue to see the journey of trying to find fellow Heelys connoisseurs.
@@MatthewMS. I have no actual factual idea, but I think they just rent a studio and film all their videos with a couple people there for production, doesnt seem too advanced.
Absolutely love the editing team behind Cody’s channels. I’m someone who really pays attention to the production quality of a video, and the editing is done perfectly to go along with Cody’s humor. 👏🏼
turn the sheets inside out, put your hands into them, grab the corners from the inside, grab the corners of the blanket with your hands, now get onto the bed, let the sheet fall over the blanket while still holding the blanket corners into the sheet corners. Shake the blanket, push the last two corners into place, close it - done!
The fact that Cody uses an orchestra version of “Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel” (the Christmas song) during his monologue on impending AI doom is SENDING me lmfao
when that heelys dude pressed early i physically held my breath and took about 30 seconds to exhale, think that was my biggest cringe of this series yet, that guy was super intense
@@KEVBOYMUSIC I thought it was a joke at first too, but, the way they cut his reaction and the way he acted after they said he can only press it when it’s blue leads to it not being a joke and him being that serious about heelys 😂
The button literally asked “do you think I’m cute” and they didn’t answers “cute as a button”? Fucking Christ man they set you up perfectly and you still missed the lay up. What’s your fucking damage. I’m so mad.
3:49 It's like the button is an ai trying to figure out how people work while also spitting out shit to appeal to genz or something 😭 like it's weird lmfaoo
So regarding the button's ever changing voice, here's my theory: They got multiple tables set up, and the button's voice is a Cut worker speaking through a filter. They run countless rounds across the various tables (hence why they need different voices, these are happening simultaneously) and then just choose the best rounds from each table to include in the episode.
The Heeley's guy 100% knew what he was doing. No way he came back with "So do you like the Cure?" unironically. And if he didnt than wow. Either way super funny bit
sidebar… cody looks really good. his skin and hair look really nice and he seems like he’s taking good care of himself. not that he’s ever really looked bad but whatever he’s doing is working
True. Not to rain on Cody’s home territory but random unsolicited suggestion here … my new favorite standup Stavros and his laugh. Those two things along with this crowd work story is f*ckjbg gold.
@@livlavender8859 I get it, I used to hate it but when your cats sleep in your bed with you eventually you start to really appreciate having clean sheets lol
Am I the only one who is actually slightly terrified of the Heely's dude and finds his entire demeanor lowkey abrasive? Man seems like a ticking time bomb.
Cody used to criticise the button's interjections so much and now they just say the same thing hgjhdf loving this Cody and The Button enemies to lovers relationship arc
turn the doona cover inside out after washed and dry. holding the top corners from the inside of the cover, pick up both correlating corners of the doona. once holding shake it out and then your doona cover is on.
