@@ItsOnlyElectric I see no flaws whatsoever in LFP. Wait till you get the BYD SEAL that is also LFP with a structural battery and 800 volt charging. Long Range (5.9 seconds) and Performance (3.8 seconds) I doubt they will bother with the entry version available in China as its specs are too slow for Europe.
gorgeous car, best battery avaliable, i don't like Tesla's minimalistic approach to interiors and i think Elon is a horrible human being... easy choice for me :p
Just got the delivery of my BYD Atto 3 here in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. And I must say this brand is serious. From build quality to riding comfort, from vegan leather to all options they give for the price is just amazing. Best value of my money and I am done with overpriced German cars. 😁
@@ItsOnlyElectric I have not heard of this make in UK. I like the sedan version of Han and Qin. But I feek id have to import it. The qin price starts at $17.5K
Yes Bjorn is pro-Tesla and most Tesla bots try discredit disruption from Chinese Ev rivals At the end BYD is the worlds largest EV company and doing very well abroad!
The internal camera recording is very important for TAXI and UBER drivers when they have problem customers. We have seen a number of videos of drunk or stoned assholes threatening and even assaulting drivers.
Hello guys, as an owner of Han since march 2023 and did already 25000KM i can say this car have a lot of bugs. Your test doesn't show at all all the problems that the car have eg A/C troubles that is work like it wants, ADAS systems completely disable once freeze and once outside above 25-30C then no more secutity options and no more cruise control. Once is raining you don't feel it anymore that you control the car but the car control you and is not stable at all. I will go next week to the garage to try to fix things on it but i am afraid have to wait a lot to get fixed. By the way the car come only with 1GB data which will be empty in few days and after no more spotify and no more fast charger availbe on the GPS. You have to share your data's phone. That's some problems, folks. Keep you posted....
they really need to get rid of that build your dream. hardware wise the Chinese are def catching up and actually better in many cases but i think they really need to up their branding and marketing game like who thinks having that build your dream on the back of the car is a good idea🤣 anyway awesome review my man
Very nice car as a daily driver. A car you would combine with an (old) ice for towing 2 tonnes longer distances, hauling etc, so I don’t miss not folding rear seats.
För det priset är det helt plötsligt ett sjukt bra erbjudande. Väldigt mycket bil för pengarna! Kolla att du får en med trefasladdning om du ska köpa. 👍
Great video as always - the split backseat and the lack in software is a no go from me. Otherwise a nice car, but what about the dimension versa Tesla S?
In ATTO 3 and SEAL there is a button to rotate screen on steering wheel, on the screen itself and voice command too. Doing it manually may be a bit rough. My take on screen ratio. If you are travelling North/South the screen should be VERTICAL If you are travelling West/East the screen should be HORIZONTAL Makes more emotional & visual sense. Plus Instagram and TikTok etc are all Vertical centric...not that I care! LOL!
I would like to travel from down under to the top of the world. Which would mean the screen must bend around over 180 degrees. When can i expect BYD to build such a car?
It's interesting that you call the Han a luxury sedan. Is this how BYD is marketing it in Europe? In China, the Han occupies the same position as the now discontinued Volkswagen CC or Toyota Avalon. It's considered the most premium model wearing the BYD badge, but it's not a luxury car. BYD does produce luxury EVs, but they are under two different nameplates. One is Denza and the other is called Yangwang. Denza used to be a joint venture between Mercedes and BYD, but Mercedes has largely exited the venture. Yangwang is a new BYD hyper-luxury brand with absolutely top-of-the-line technologies and priced up to 200,000 USD or more. There will be a third luxury division soon, slotted between Yangwang and Denza, but I don't know much about its model lineup.
Interesting facts. BYD Sweden is marketing it as a sleek and sporty sedan with luxury interior. Not straight as a luxury sedan but in the same class as bmw 5 series for instance.
@@ItsOnlyElectric I think this may be related to BYD's sales strategy in each country. In China, Han is just an ordinary car, even though the interior is the same
Yes, but with the price point in Europe it's hard to call it a regular sedan. But MB e-class and BMW 5-series is clearly ylthe premium segment and that's where BYD are aiming in Europe.
This may be related to manufacturing and shipping costs and tariffs, and this is based on the current cost of manpower in China. If the cost of manpower in China is the same as in Germany, then Han will be sold more expensive.
i like byd. the Atto 3 was on my shortlist. but as been taken off bechose of its underdeveloped softwhare. second disadvantige for us was the charging port location And the biggest problem its slow charging speed that was totaly unexpedted for a battery brand to bing out such a outdated charging. The Han is a great looking car its priced 73K here and for that its not for normal ppl pocket and then i think this car will fail vs its competitors. The LFP battery is a gem but can be founf in other brands
My love for this car is that the interior evokes classic luxury American cars. While NIO, XPENG, ZEEKR are European influenced, BYD seems to take its cues from American classics.
The Han isn't brand new. They weren't meant for the European market, not until this year. Chinese have a slightly different idea of a luxurious appearance. I think the style will be adapted in the coming year or so, they already dropped the fully written name on the rear because of comments from European car testers.
Hej!
I have tested Byd Han, a good car and looks fantastic. But it has a number of negatives, you can't fold down the rear seats and little space in the back. I thought the car behaved a bit strangely on the road, especially at higher speeds. Tesla is much more fun to drive.
I was looking at this car but compared to some of the competition it's a bit too expensive. I would take long journeys in it as I work in Munich but my family is in the Netherlands, that's about a 8 hour drive. I use ABRP to compare the time it will take between car models, very useful information. For example, the Atto 3 is about an hour slower compared to the VW ID.3 with the small battery.
@@ItsOnlyElectric Ah I mean the smaller one is the 58 kWh net capacity. Surprisingly, it is about an hour faster in charging compared to the Atto 3 with the Extended Range battery of 61 kWh.
@@ItsOnlyElectric I do hope that there is a choice of interior colours. Tesla have an option for white and Hyundai have an off white or a light grey I think they call it
Good that they use real leather. It is so annoying with this vegan trend and electric cars. You can eat meat and drive an electric ;-). Nice car however, I agree with you regarding the boot, no family father will like that car...
@@mishka5152 the specifications says leather. So I think it's real leather but I hope not. Are you happy with your HAN? @@ItsOnlyElectric I also have a 2018 MB E class. I'm very satisfied with BYD. The suspension is more comfortable on MB with comfort suspension but all in all after already 10.000 km I'm satisfied. The big question is how the cooling of the cabin and the battery will be in the summer. After a lot of driving with it in Germany I can see that after 3 dc chargings during 6 hours the charging speed is going a little bit down. May be caused of heating. How will this be in 30 degrees is my question? In Norway we have had app for the car from first day and it works very well. With the app you start heating, lock the car, see charging status and much more.
Hmm...sounds like it can cause some problems. So it's not able too cool the battery effective enough? I like the Han, but only used it for 4 days in total.
I am sure there is a whole contingent of white so called car reviewers who eill point out many, many flaws, including some potentially 'fatal' flaws. They eill be very subdued in their praise or desctiption of good things about the cars. It has this and that BUT.....
