I like how they claimed how this movie was "Based of a True story" and I know where that "true story" part came from. It was whenever the dude tried to sell this script, every studio would go "Bye bye man..."
I don't know why, but I misheard The Bye-Bye Man on a couple of occasions as "The Baha Men" and it feels like this movie would be better if it was a bunch of college kids being hounded by a junkanoo music troupe. Nobody dies, but in the end we finally learn who let the dogs out.
I think she's a horrendous actor. I think she just got weird cache from being in the Matrix and I think they only picked her to be in the Matrix because she satisfied a certain aspirational fixation that the WIchowski's had.

And I love how they keep trying to scare us with fucking PG-13 horror. That shit has gotta stop, I've seen Halloween specials on Cartoon Network more frightening than most PG-13 horror movies.

What's the point of these horror movies anyways? They're not scary, they aren't creative, they aren't well written, they are poorly acted. Why are these even films? It's a waste of time and space.
How the hell did they get Faye Runway and Carrie Moss into this ripped off of Slender man movie? Did they think that N Sync was gonna be in this movie and they were going to meet Justin Timberlake? Guess 2017 thought that we missed the black hoodie ( stalker stereotype ever) bringing back pop references and Pretty Little Liars just in case you missed it.
I walked out after the first 40 minutes. It started off kind of interesting in the 60s, but then it goes to present day and the acting was so horrible I couldn't continue.
