Earlier this morning I received a text from a good friend of mine saying that he would have CSX 1877 on his train out of Waycross. CSXT 1877 is CSX’s newest heritage unit painted to commemorate the old C&EI. I definitely dig the new paint job on it and couldn’t pass the opportunity to shoot this thing in its first train since being repainted so I knock out some switching at work and head to lunch with my camera. M650 would get to Valdosta and have to drop 14 cars in the yard so that would give us time to get up to the tracks for some pictures and allow me to make this video. Anyways I hope y’all enjoy it!
