We were working as gate guards in the east Texas /west Louisiana oilfield when our rig was moved. Luckily we were able to capture part of the move and assembly on film and have made this short film (13 mins) to show others and to give to the crew of the Cactus 150.

Good question. We don't know the answer. Mast is what they called it on our research, but our research was limited to the internet so...

Technically speaking a Derrick needs to be a two piece like the old a frames. But pretty much Derrick is still the universal term and nobody cares about the distinction really.
