Watched this video a while back and ended up gettin the Mystic Edge. Being an old LUDDITE, havin analog EARS for many YRS , YES I could hear/"feel" the subtle differences between the 2 BUT???... I was VERY dissapointed with the Vox pedal, only getting 15-20 MINUTES from a 9V battery?. Tried 3 difference brands with same results?..Yeah, i also tried searchin for the pedal in this video?..Seems its discontinued? or changed names?. Just like some honesty here. Do these Caline pedals have a HEAVY drain on a 9V batt, like that Mystic Edge?..Im also currently lookin at the Caline Crazy Cacti.Enjoyed the video !
Brother please listen, you will never regret buying an isolated power supply. Some go for as much second hand as a caline pedal, well worth a try at least.
@@funhousebaby3104 @funhousebaby3104 Thanks for the reply! When ya say"Isolated pwr supp" to a BOOMER, He'll be thinkin about a club with HORRIBLE AC 60HZ HUM, like we had to deal with in the 60s/70s. Those units were HIGH DOLLAR back then and power "conditioners" have replaced them of course. I play alotta gigs in state parks/forests where theres often ZERO AC available so batterys are my only option for my Vox MINI amps, and a pedal. I ended up going with a JOYA JF-13 which only draws 6 mA, and it does a great job as a OD pedal with good analog texturing.😎
I see your point, but I'll never get the budget to shoot that until at least 2025. If you were to buy one, you've got 14 days to end it back if you think it sucks ;)
