My wife called me crying to say she’s smashed the Land Rover up! It’s only a 2001 but it’s been owned by new and we’ve had some great memories with the vehicle from trips inside to the artic circle and both my sons being collected from hospital in it… my eldest also passed his test in the car! A group of Eastern Europeans were moving cars for a hire company and all 3 pulled out in front of her with the last one not making it. They couldn’t give two shits about my wife or our much loved family car and were more concerned how they were going to get out of it being his fault. I took the car home on my trailer and had it back from insurance company and put it back on the road but fixing a vehicle is easier than fixing someone nerves!! My poor wife is now a nightmare to drive with as she thinks everyone’s going to pull out… absolute bastards and I really hope I never cross paths with this man as his bull shit really made the whole situation a lot more stressful! Witnesses and photos were crucial for us so that’s worth noting. Hope all is well with the family mate.
Glad they are both ok, If you're not buying it back check out what salvage rebuilds will give you, they have a youtube channel and do these all day long.

It’s only metal and plastic, glad everyone is safe, my wife had a similar accident bought it back and had it on the road in a week, as long as your wife will be happy driving it again go for it

Wow mate that shocking that the air bags didn't go off something not right there and hope it can be saved mate just so thankfull everyone was ok and no serious injuries I would of lost it with that other bloke though what a tool you all take care out there mate stay safe peace 🤙✌
At least they are both OK. Cars can be replaced! Depends on if the chassis legs are straight, if they are then it's just lots of bolt on bits. Hope you are enjoying the US.
Too many fast vehicles and slow brains. That's why I have front and rear dash cams and defensive driving. Trying to save a couple of seconds is never worth the injuries, damage and paperwork.
Glad the family are all ok! If you don’t want the hassle of fixing it I would happily buy it from the insurance company through you as I have been looking for an x4 as mine was damaged! Let me know👍 hope America is treating you well!

At least your family are ok. I'm sorry to tell you this though, that will not buff out. It looks repairable but there is a lot underneath that can be bent and BMW parts are not cheap.
Pleased they are both OK. It probably is repairable but would it bring back memories of what happened and make them feel uncomfortable every time they were in it.
