The survival horror spirital successor, overshadowed and outclassed by the very thing it was trying to imitate
I was included in the initial backlash, and bounced off Callisto Protocol very quickly. After a year since both releases of Callisto, & Dead Space, I thought it was time to revisit. To re-affirm my initial feelings about the game, and of course, to earn my first platinim trophy of 2024...
...The Protocol isn't about death! It's about life!

I’m so glad to see you enjoyed this one! I read so many mid reviews and comments before playing so I wasn’t that interested.. But when it landed on PS+ I decided to play it during Spooktober and I absolutely loved it. I even tortured myself playing through Hardcore and Contagion and going for 100% of the trophies. Great game!

Im glad we're the same mindset on this game, I really did enjoy it. Releasing within a month of dead space was'nt good for it, and I think an update or two helped improve after launch. It seemed to run better a year later. I happily picked up the season pass @ Xmas on sale, and enjoyed the final DLC. Still gottado some fo the extra modes, would be nice to get 100%

It's rare a game deserves a video for itself. This to me felt more like a "play the game then give it a fair rating" think videos like this even though trophy channel are a welcome addition. Really enjoyed this one!

I agree bro, it is a little different than the usual how to earn stuff. I guess I want people to give it a go, even if they were put off because Dead space was clearly superior. Glad you enjoyed mate, thanks x

I don't know why this game never really appealed to me as much as it did to you on release. The combat looks hectic and fun even if it's a bit clunky. I might give this a go eventually but I really need to finish dead space first. Great video though man really interesting to see

Ah so it seems like if you can separate it from Dead Space you might have a good time. It's nice to see a more positive review after some of the other reception I've seen. I haven't got around to playing this or remake yet, but very useful video that's made me want to play them sooner 😊

I’d like to watch the video, but I haven’t played the game and it is alread downloaded and installed. See you, when I have finished Callisto Protocol. :)
