I genuinely believe the last chapter will be a Yuji and Gojo flashback with the team dealing with this curse user being a redo of the team’s first mission in the detention center. Megumi and nobara were given letters regarding their families but Yuji said he got to talk to Gojo directly and for the life of me gege as an author just cannot end the series (maybe) without settling this. The whole chapter was all settling. Megumi laying his sister to rest, letting hana even potentially tap, higaruma now living as a sorcerer to make amends for his past, Takaba and most likely kenjaku becoming a comedy duo. Amai just trying to make amends for his past, this chapter’s underlying theme is just making amends with the past. Alot of people are having a hard time believing that the series is ending happy to where people believe this is all a dream or Kenjaku's plan, but that just isn't the case The series will end happy because...it's a Shonen Jump series lol. While you can make a darker manga for SJ (look at how dark HXH can get or the dark shit YYH would do) at the end of the day the series will HAVE to end with the heroes winning. Even if you end it with the MC dying, the villain still has to lose, and the heroes will still have to win. Shonen Jump's principles are "Friendship (Teamwork), Effort, and Victory". If Gege was on another magazine, I could buy that he might end it in a way where it was more tragic or grim but like...SJ will literally never let him do that due to their policy lol.
