Because RU-vid has a heavy compression and it's hard to see the quality of the 8K footage, I decided to upload the dancer part on vimeo, so you can see it uncompressed: vimeo.com/894635234/798711b003?share=copy
Alex, this is the highest compliment I can give; you move like I do with my R4D. This footage is 🔥Beyond the 8K or 6K module, the footage you got is amazing, most especially that 50 F1.2 content. I'd love to see you mount the Ironglass 58MM Helios and perhaps the GreatJoy on this as well. Awesome job dude, you're putting out high caliber content, and I rarely comment on this stuff, let alone subscribe to channels, so well done!
Thank you so much for this feedback 🙏🙏 I wish I had more time for this review, I only received the camera 2 weeks ago, but I will definitely make something more remarkable with it. I’m honestly very curious to test out helios with this 8K sensor.
my 8k version arrived in the UK a few days ago - just a few days after I had ordered it - great combo with the zoom lens - I was shocked when the 4D 6k first came out that you had to then buy a lens too lol! will open it over christmas
Amazing review! Awesome cinematic review 🎉 I was curious does RU-vid not flag your video the music used? Or was it a remix etc? Was just genuinely curious.
Does not compare whatsoever. The blackmagic image falls apart very quickly in low light. The camera itself (L Mount Cinema Camera 6K) is great just not really suited for low light in my opinion. I have owned both cameras.
whoops @9:00 lol this is an amazing do you know if they fixed the back focus/autofocus issue if you heard about its in the 6k version? I've seen one RU-vidr mention not to calibrate it then it would be fine.
Id love to purchase this for more serious client work it looks like my kind of camera but the budget is hurting me lol. I currently film with the FX3 and sony A7 IV
