Hahaha... I wasn't allowed to play D&D as a kid either. I think my dad is still in full blown satanic panic mode. He said all the same crazy shit that Sam's parents did. By 7 or 8 years old I was logical enough to realize that my dad was completely insane.
Satanic panic was very real. One of my friends had his mom throw out hundreds of dollars of D&D books, manuals, etc while he was out. I dont think most people realized it was keeping kids out of trouble haha
It was a blast sitting front row listening to him tell these stories. We also had met him in his autograph line earlier in the day and he would take several minutes to talk to every person who waited in his line. It made the line move extremely slow, but you definitely got to have a 1-on-1 conversation with him for several minutes.
@@allendunn4388that’s awesome, the more I see of the guy the more I admire him. From a fan of Star Wars to someone with constant reappearances in the franchise. Guy is fr a inspiration.
Have never thought about it until I jus realized while watching this jus for no reason just a random idea but... It makes SO much sense if your gonna have young Palpatine in a future Star Wars show like a Plaguis show you get Sam Witwer to be Palpatine. He already has plenty of experience with the character more then anyone outside of Ian McDiarmid and I think his face and even hair actually do have plenty of similarities more importantly the amount of care and passion he has lines up with guys like Dave Filoni. I think would easily do the character justice at least, and it kinda makes me forget about all those ideas of Matt Smith or the Loki actor or whoever, get fucking Sam Witwer dude.
Interesting idea! I think it would be cool to give him a really well-written original character where the future would be wide open to build up something great, but I can see the merits of your idea.
@@thecantinaclub2848 Honestly that is prob the best route, whether it's letting him do a Starkiller reboot or giving him a completely original character he prob thrives more in having his own character as a DnD nut. I jus think he'd also play young Palpatine very well since just like Starkiller he was also an apprentice. Either way I'd be really happy and it's jus a matter of time at this point.
People lose their shit over Avatar, not know that Lucas not only paved the way but blazed the trails as well before that. I mean Star wars is the reason Cameron says he even took up film making in the first place.
"I wanna put my finger prints on it" I exactly what is wrong with the sequels JJ and Ryan with their grubby little fingerprints. Like a couple of toddlers with no respect for what they are smearing their feces covered fingers on.
The greatest Schwarzeneggar impression. The action movie Arnie is dead on, but doing a body-builder Arnie impression from Pumping Iron is much rarer. Nails it.
Oooh, he made mention of Liam Neeson being in the same movie as the Glaive. I like to say the animation is so good Liam walked off the Krull set straight into Tales of the Jedi.
It's crazy how Sam looks like an older/more detailed version of Keanu Sam has that Keanu voice and appearance Sam looks a little like Keanu although he doesn't have the same face appearance
