Porsche's 917 competed in their first Le Mans in 1969 and none of the three cars that started the race finished, unlike what the video says @ 23:40 mark. The 917 private entry #10 of John Woolfe and Herbert Linge was involved in an accident that killed Woolfe before the first lap was even completed. 148 laps later (hour 15) the factory #14 917 of Rolf Stommelen and Kurt Ahrens Jr. retired with an oil leak. The last factory 917, #12 of Vic Elford and Richard Atwood retired with 327 laps (hour 22) from a gear box and clutch failure. The GT40 #6 of Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver completed 372 laps and won Le Mans. The 917 won its first Le Mans in 1970 on its SECOND TRY with Hans Herrmann and Richard Atwood at the wheel of the #23 917.
The thing about billionaires and that is they don’t actually have money it’s all assets meaning they have no money no cash flow in order for the to buy something they need too sell or trade for
Then on top of the to replace parts it costs as much as it cost plus extra in labour and no insurance covers the cost so they put after market on which is where you lose value
@@Gucci_lvu That's only half true. Different billionaires with similar net worth's can have astronomically different levels of spending power entirely depending on where/if their money is invested. A billionaire whose investments are very diversified in lots of different stocks, bonds, real estate properties and portfolios will have vastly greater cashflow and spending power than one who'se entire net worth is held up in one big privately owned business. Bonds and real estate especially are great cash flowing assets. Stocks are not so much so, but if they're well diversified, then small bits of various stocks can be very easily sold off to fund such expensive purchases. In addition, billionaires can lend money and bind the loans to their assets such as their real estate to fund expensive purchases. That will come with the downside of debt with interest rates, but is another common way for billionaires to fund their purchases.
They probably don't, but they can probably make new ones if they're needed. Car companies tend to go above and beyond for customers of such rare and extremely expensive vehicles. And these customers can also afford to pay for such rare/one-off replacement parts.
But then again, he doesn't buy/collect this type of car. So where do you drive these? I was in traffic in Canada in a GM Firefly and a Porche Turbo was in front of me. I think the fastest we were going was 5-10 MPH. for over ten miles. Waste of money.
Alles wirklich sehr sehr schöne Autos, wenn da nicht diese nervige KI-Stimme einem den optischen Genuss versauen würde. Vor allem das stupide Wiederholen von Worten und Phrasen...
wow this garage is one of a kind, fuck how many cars u have. oh u havent seen half of them yet, that car there thats kristas lamborghini i bought it for her last mothers day, only has 7 miles on it doesnt see the road much
The Atlantic is one good reason you don't go by what other people say . Good quality, but ugly body design. Even looked ugly from the front when shown on the highway. I guess same applies to people that get ugly dogs but think they're so cute . Some people have a lot of money but no taste. A lot of cars have the same deep cut cockroach design like the ugly bicycle helmets you see people wearing. Some people's tastes are just ridiculous.
What a Clickbait Title. Going for the Worst ? No Billions Dollar Cars here ! Any Billionaire with a billion in available currency could Afford to buy any of these Cars … maybe not currently available then with patience you could easily wait for it to become available from a Death to a necessity to liquidate assets, that can easily happen … you just have to be determined to own one. Even the Solus. Own one and you might change your mind, then it’s available to any Billionaire or anyone who could afford it …
Pray that the Sun is not darkened and that the moon sheds its light that there will be no longer winter. Pray that you dont flee during the winter or on the sabbath day... But for the elects sake that the times are shortened... Pray that there is No Long Winter!
