This was well needed I'm at a decision making point right now between going to medical school and choosing to pursue something instead. It's been causing me anxiety and to worry which I know I shouldn't do as a christian but the mere thought of making the wrong decision is scary. Right now in my current job I'm learning to trust God with the bbn process. All of my life I thought it was God's will for me to become a doctor and this is set in stone. Since my senior year of college and graduation I've been deciding whether this would be a correct choice since I want to honor God more than I have ex in the past instead of just doing whatever I feel. There are also parental pressures to be a doctor and move on with my career than continue to stay at home during my gap year. Please I could really use some insight and prayer I'm feeling very confused.
This is so beautiful and very much needed but now I couldn't be more confused!! I haven't had a job for almost a year because I've been trying to find a job that wouldn't make me completely miserable, so I thought why not go on a working holiday to another country for something different... so maybe I could see what God wants me to do with my life but now that i've watched this I am a few weeks before my trip and I am now wondering whether I'm supposed to go or not!! I am so confused, if there is anyone who can shed some light on my situation I would be forever grateful!!
You said "..So maybe I could see what God wants me to do with my life..." You already have the right idea by incorporating Christ into the picture. Remember "The Lord directs the steps of the godly..." (Psalm 37:23).. as long as you don't have a bad feeling about it, go try it out and see where it takes you; He may have a purpose for you there, you never know.. The good thing about God is that if you trust in him, everything will turn out for your good no matter what so use these next few weeks to meditate on His Word and visit him in prayer talking to him about this specific situation and thanking Him for all that he's already done. I trust that he has a plan for you

Broken. We get closer to Him through brokenness. We forget Him when things run smooth. And also many times, people SEE us and we are sometimes the only Bible they'll see before meeting God. You have no clue who is watching you. Believers are so much more resilient in the midst of a crisis cause God is with us.
