This is the first time I have ever seen this wonderful video. Thank you very much for posting and sharing this outstanding performance and video! I was born in the late fall of 1978 in central Kentucky and grew up in northern Kentucky. I am 70% Irish! I am English, Irish, Scottish and German on the maternal side of my family. My paternal side of the family is Irish and Scottish.

I was raised listening to the irish rovers and the Carleton show band. My mother was crowned the Polka Queen. RIP LORETTA MANCUSO/DESCHAMPS.

Good song by the carlton, I remember it , I'd forgotten about it, well sung in great irish accent by Freddy White I think it is . Others great members... Bob Lewis,Sean McManus, shamus Crewe,Mike Feeney, Christy McLaughlin, the drummer I dont kno name and bass player , I dont think its johnny Patterson. I am also sad to just having learned that some of those members have now passed away

You do know that this whole number was lip synced right? (And badly lip synced) Also there are no microphones. No guitar cables. And yet they have perfect sound. 😆 But it is a great song from a Canadian band that never really got the recognition it deserved.
