Pig and Whistle Christmas Show 

This is a real treat. My brother Bob Lewis was in the Carlton Showband for the entirety of this show. He sang When a child is Born. His two children were there as well. Aaron C Lewis and April (Lewis) Halliday. So nice to see this old treasure. Thank you for posting.

I loved watching the show every week with my mom and brother. Good fun! The opening and closing numbers are in my memory forever!

Great music and singing, great dancing, everyone having a wonderful time. Fabulous! The Pig And Whistle was a fun half hour.

A truly... wonderfully entertaining show! The Pig N' Whistle was on tv for about 10 years. My whole family watched it, starting from the night it first debuted on tv... right up to the last night when they ended its long series run. It was a most unique and refreshingly entertaining show with the wonderful Carlton Show Band and an amazing line-up of regular and special guest entertainers! How sad that only one episode (Pig and Whistle Christmas Show) of this great family show is available to view online here. It would be nice to see it again, but I guess that's not going to happen. In any case, this family show favorite lives on in our memories... To the cast and crew of the "Pig N' Whistle Show"; Thank You for 10 years of entertaining fun and laughter! We miss you!!!

This brings back nice memories. Kay was always so kind and generous to me. I was good friends with her daughter at the time and Kay took us to the studio while she was taping the show. Thank you for posting this!

I'm watching this and I still can't believe the quality. The memories this brings back of watching this show with my mom and dad who are not with us anymore are overwhelming. They loved this show as did my sister and I.

Could always recognize John and Billy by their hats.

I was quite young when this show aired so my memory mixed it up as part of the Irish Rovers TV program.

I did get to perform with Billy Meek as part of Bobby Brown's Road to the Isles Show at the CNE...back in the late 70s. Nice to see him again.

I watched The Pig & Whistle with my Grandparents...

I remember this show being on the television as I passed through the room. Now that I see this video it occurs to me that it must have been weird, really weird for the in-studio audience during the production numbers.

I wish i could find the the show with my father in it. If i remember it was something to do with the Army ..Like I'm in the army now Da na na na da Some female dancer go's to tug on my dads tie and he is seen trying to bite at her hand in a joke I remember it as a small kid watching it on TV ..Dad passed away the following year of heart failure

Is there nobody at ctv that can confirm if they have ANY footage or not? Was this not the hottest weekly canadian show?
