1977 THE CARS broke onto and into our youth. Our car stereos blasting out each and every hit, we so thought we were immortal, and our time was eternal. Now senior citizens and AARP members have we realized how short our time is here. This all blew past way too quick. Ben's untimely passing, Ric's unexpected passing : quite the wake up call that not only are we here a short time, but that THIS band allows us to be forever young. Thank you Ric, Ben, David, Greg and Elliot. You 5 together will remain immortal. We still watch, listen and tune in. 1977-2022. That says a whole lot. Forever THE CARS.
