I think the main message here was that was the most famous museum with the most priceless art (white art mostly) and then you have jay z and Beyoncé renting it out and filming in it shows how far black people can go like jay z and Beyoncé two blacks cemented themselves around this art and these wide shots with them posing were as if jayz and Beyoncé were art too and just as priceless. esp when that woman was taking care of the man's hair in front of the monalisa !! They showing blackness in the most expensive and whitest places.

After watching this a MILLION times, i finally noticed that the GIRLS laying down kind of symbolizes how black people were laid out on the slaveship .... I AM BEYOND SHOOOOK. GREAT REACTION AND COMMENTARY!

I usually respond with correct grammar, but today, im tired, lol the louvre is the most famous museum in paris. it has priceless historical art from european history. once upon a time, only the elite could come see it. the carters rented it out and made a video. their name has clout. the majority of the collection was about "white" european art and artists. blacks were featured in some backgrounds as shadows or slaves or help in some of the artwork. at the end of the video you see that there is a featured painting of a black person in a headdress and can be featured just like the mona lisa is featured there, too. to me, they were showing that black artists and art can be just as important and we are just as fabulous and historical as they were, but more so because we been doing it without the recognition. notice how the two black girls sitting on the floor with white hairdressings resemble a recreation of the still art on the wall? "give me my check. put some respek on my check" bey said. "fuck the nfl. I don't need you. you need me. fuck the grammy's with that 0 for 8 shit", Jay said. The nfl was disrespecting Collin for taking a knee and cost him his job, but yet want Jay to come and perform like some dancing monkey for their entertainment because they need the views. Same with the grammys they nominated him 8 times and he didn't win one for 4:44. they did Bey wrong when lemonade came out. basically they wanted them there in the audience to spike up the numbers. Yet the grammys would give them awards for best "urban" album, as a reminder to let them know. "Nigger, stay in your lane. You're not good enough anymore because you won't dance a jig and stop talking about black this and that" People keep discrediting them with spreading around this bullshit illuminati mess. They got where they are by hard work, not paid connections. At the end of the day, these white owned industries will still try to put you in your place if you dare speak up about their white supremacy overtaking everything, or speaking in support of black people. That's their biggest fear. they keep us in check with divide and conquer. So if you have a black power couple like the carters, teaching the masses how to step up, best thing to do is discredit them and wait for their black haters to do the rest...like obedient tobies.

Yes, everything about the video was creative. I love the black excellence, black art, black love and black positivity. I forget the name of the museum but it's in France and it's the most famous museum in the world. They were able she down the most famous museum in the world for personal use. Im pretty sure that museum was the louvre, but as for the video there's not much to say that people have already said. But personally my favorite part was the dancing and art. Im a very visual person and this appeased my eyeballs. It was very expressive and fluid. Side note: I thought y'all were talking in slow-mo at first to be serious, but nah...my player was at 0.5x speed great video 👍

It’s only now that I get the literal meaning of the name of the song “apesh*t” to how “we” were perceived as such in the past. These paintings are more of representation of that past. But today we can shut the museum down and address a few things going on; while we also make art. 🤷🏿‍♂️🙌🏿👌🏿🖤

Lengthy Comment Incoming lol I - Good reaction I've watched 2 of you all's reaction videos so far now and what I like the most about the reactions is the format and how you all take time to listen to the song first and then react in a intuitive and critical way about the song. For that alone you've got my subscription II - the song APESHIT really is a amazing masterpiece and the museum they rented out is known as the "Louvre" museum of art. In my opinion the visuals adds a meaning to the lyrics (which are mostly materialistic in nature) basically they flaunt their wealth in a museum of paintings dating back to the colonial days to emphasize how the people of that time period mistreated people of color. (Had to do alittle research on the museum) Fun Fact: Quavo and Offset helped with Bey's verses and did a reference track for her except she did a lot of edits to it (you can find the original version Quavo and Offset did with a quick Google search) Anyways keep up the good work awesome videos! How wealthy and influential does someone have to be to rent out the LOUVRE for a video shoot. I went there as a tourist once and you can’t get anywhere near the Mona Lisa, they are just sat right in front of it! That alone should cement the Carter’s place in history. Iconic.
