Wow,,their voice did'nt fade out with their age...brings back the memories when i was young hearing their songs when my parents and uncles play and sing with it as well..👍❤
in the early 70's they were rumoured to die in a plane crash... although I haven't seen them on tv in those early years (even in their 50's, 60's videos), I really love tgeir songs. in fact, I do, memorize almost all of their songs just like I do with the Beatles. on their "death conspiracy", I believe that it happened just to pave the way for the "british artists" like the Beatles and Bee Gees, as well as the American Rolling Stones. anyhow, they could have existed side by side back then. This Cascades we saw may bot be the original, they still sound so much like the original one. I give the double thumbs up for their great performance.!!
I stumbled upon the original recording of this song from 1963 here on RU-vid. This song grew on me a lot. I prefer this tune vs their signature hit "Rhythm Of The Falling Rain." The lead singer's voice sounds just as great 5 decades later!
Your voice seems still romantic, doesn't change much . I've listened to the songs of th Cascades since they were new released when I was only 12. It is more than 50 years now .. Love you all.
Very underrated group, made 3 or 4 fantastic records my favs was she'll love again/those were the good old days but amazingly they didn't do anything in the charts!!!!!!!!!!
Oh wow ! I'm falling in love again with this song and I am 70 now still young at heart when I hear this song .😊😊 nothing change with his voice and still the same . THANKS FOR SHARING !😊
The vocals on shy girl s so simple and pleasing to the ear....... yet it’s not easy to sing.... same goes to all their songs.... a wonderful group indeed....
Wow 😲😍 his voice was still same and their blending, what a relaxing 😌 and brilliant voices 😍 I grew up with these kind of music as my Parents taught us ♥️
They recorded three albums and my favorite is ''First Love never Dies '' which became one of their singles......also a minor hit.John Gummoe was the vocalist pioneer, later replaced by Gabe Lapano who played organ and piano.
The girl's photo on the thumbnail really got my attention, does somebody here knows her name? Just kidding! A very good and meaningful song! Relate much HAHA
ahh 1986, University of San Carlos, Cebu City. There was my shy girl who was always seated across my table in the library every tuesdays and thursdays. But I was a shy boy too. So we never knew each other. But we were looking at each other for a whole year.
