This lawyer is making excuses for his client what ever he went thru he shouldn’t hurt a child just because he went thru as a child he deserves life and it was his 6 year old he lost his freedom its his own fault cause he is a pig
That’s their job they have the right to an attorney even if it’s given by the state that the attorney didn’t do anything wrong it’s part of their job. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to understand 🤦♀️ 🙄
What boiled me is that the defense was he's 35 and NOW he's having flashbacks? What does a little girl have to do with HIM being abused. Glad the judge upped it to 20. I think she wants to make sure that the little girl is grown, stable, and healthy before this filthy rat gets out.

There is a big sex offender program at a TDCJ prison. You all need to get familiar with federal law PREA which is the Prison Rape Elimination Act. Sex offenders are not randomly assigned to all different units to be preyed upon. Read PREA.
Being abused as a child is bad enough but then using that as an excuse is much worse. Why would anyone who's went through a horrific, abusive childhood put another innocent victim through that. I can't believe his lawyer went there.
I was sexually abused as a 2-12 year old, and guess what I never did? I never abused another child. That lawyer is terrible. A six year old? How disgusting.

I am so glad it was Judge Boyd dealing with this demon driven soul. I cannot believe how BOLD he is speaking about his sick mind. Obviously this was definitely not the ONLY time he has done this NO WAY!! That attorney should be ashamed of how he is speaking to the Judge!! I understand he is defending his client but his attitude was a bit defensive. This was VERY VERY HARD FOR ME TO WATCH, And why keep saying it in such detail?? Well he's only got caught once so nobody knows how many but him and the children he's done these horrible things too. Doesn't matter if they're in therapy it will affect her the rest of her life whether she puts it out now or she will remember it later with horrible dreams. Lewd and lascivious acts, awakens sexual emotions when the child is not mentally and physically mature enough to deal with all the emotions on how to navigate throughout their lives. Where trust was violated, fear now reigns. Where innocents betrayed, unleashed confusion on what is normal. I could go on and on. Sexual abuse victims either become adults where adults should have been, or they became the new predator.

A plea deal was completely appropriate vs. putting the kids through a trial and having to testify and hear him justify what he did to them...blame and traumitize them...if the children aren't good witnesses he could have gotten a mistrial or not guilty
The attorney is helping this guy dig the prison hole. Put in prison, period, and throw away the key. Prison inmates will take of him when they find out what he did. Judge dismissed them, period. She was disgusted big time.

I worked with children CPS had removed for abuse, and occasionally had children who acted out inappropriately- they had all been sexually abused. As another commenter said, you tell them stop, we don’t do that, it’s not appropriate. Period, full stop, the end.

I agree with the judge he shouldn't get his weapons back when they do anything illegal and they are taking they should not get the weapons back at all because next week a month down the road like all these other people that have been killed because they have received items back or let out of the nut house or counseling house whatever you want to count it call it many people have died because of this and the judge shouldn't have to be put in that position of getting blamed for letting him have the product back and it's legally her responsibility which she is explaining
