Really love the look of your Inverness cape! I have six Inverness capes and am always looking to add another to my coat rack. I wish you'd offer them in different lining colors though, it'd really look sharp lined in red or purple satin.
you read our minds! We've actually got two new version of the satin cloak coming, one with white satin lining and another with red satin. Watch our FB page for updates, or contact us directly (www.historicalemporium.com/cust_service.php#contact_us) to be informed when the new items are live on our website.
Used to wear capes and cloaks back in high school but they where all Halloween store garbage. Decided to take up the look again but I wanted it to be a bit more refined. After a bit of research I decided on the Inverness cloak, but I simply could not find one of quality anywhere. Ended up finding one on Ebay I'm quite happy with, but I'd like to have a few.
i got the black/red satin one how good is that martieral cause despite not wearing mine all the time only for a few videos on my channel and 2 conventions were i was Barnabas collions and edward hyde thats it but it looks like it maybe frying in someplaces
These Inverness 🧥 coats remind me of the Doc Holiday’s( Val Kilmers ) Coat In Tombstone . I’m trying to find one , which black coat is closest to his in the scene when they are walking to the corral shoot out ? I know the color isn’t the same but is the brown one similar style to his in the movie ? PS ur website is awesome , I know soon I will order other products :)
thanks John! www.historicalemporium.com/store/005912.php Is probably the closest to what he wore in the movie, with a lightweight black wool blend. The brown inverness is quite heavy wool, better suited for very cold weather.
