A very well-done story. And the coolest convertible in town. Thanks so much for finding and sharing this.

From what I could find on this program, it was filmed in 1949 and televised in 1952. An interesting episode, especially taking into consideration the time period it was filmed.

Theodore von Eltz sure looked like Edmund Lowe. Could have fooled me.

Only 13 Davis Divan Three Wheelers were ever made. 12 still exist, mostly I guess in car museums.

That should have been " in an interview that she gave. "

OK, her stroking of her cigarette holder is decidedly rude.

His car is super cool, but also looks like a dinner roll on wheels.

Who gives a car a mans name? Does that say something about our hero? I'll bet that 3 wheeler does good in the corners. ha ha ha

Hope they don't have the same tendencies as the Reliant Robbins. :-)

Was it really a common thing to order a hard boiled egg in a bar?
@Eeklex

Yes. The corner spot that was my hangout in the ‘70s was probably one of the last in that town to do so, and I don’t recall ever seeing anybody order one (maybe more for the daytime trade), but there was a gallon jar of them. I was told that the owner boiled them up on a daily basis.

They were pickled eggs. Yum. That reminds me. I´m going to make some.
