Glen talks about what he’s loved most about working with Mother of Dragons actor Emilia Clarke, and shares what costume piece he wanted to always wear. Game of Thrones returns for its final season on April 14.
I think she saw him as more of a father figure. She always looked uncomfortable when he hinted that he was attracted to her. He's a good looking guy in the show so I think it's easier to overlook but in the books the attraction is not as cute.
Yeah, except for the whole bit where he’s old enough to be her dad. Oh, and the bit where he was kicked out of Westeros for slave trading. Jorah earned his redemption: but no, he was not worthy of her love.
"What would Iain Glen say to Jorah? - Don't expect any favours from that girl. Be kind to yourself. " I don't know why this hit me so hard but I felt so bad for Jorah. God, is that not love then I don't know what is.
Baddy Sih Look around on RU-vid he has narrated a few of George’s stories like The Rogue Knight that’s one that comes to mind and just lovely to listen to...Enjoy!!
This made me tear up. Ser Jorah Mormont will always be remembered as one of the most selfless, loving, brave, and honorable characters. Iain played him perfectly.
You were much loved. Ser Jorah of house Mormont, may you and Lyanna rest with your ancestors in the North. May you and your father Jeor Mormont be reunited in honor.
Same! I was hoping that after Jon snow rebuffed her advances after finding out they were family, she would go to Jorah and they would finally consummate their relationship the day before he dies.
Wow just came back and seen the hate going back and forth that’s sad 😢 anyway I was more addressing how he was talking about his daughter but I’m guessing if you have the hater-aide in your blood all you would want to do is spread it rather than try to delete it so... 🙏🏻prayers for your spiritual growth
@@jaslynnmelero7340 Or be a decent human being and write *spoiler alert* before your post. You don't get to tell everyone what they can and cannot read. Knobhead.
My favourite character right here. Such a well played role. Love the job Iain's done and the story about him. And how can you not love his relationship with Emilia in real life and in the "game".
People can love Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Davos, Jaimie, the Starks girls, even Cercei. But he is my favorite character, he's so underated, and have an amazing story. He truly deserves to end well in the show 😢
Ok, I cried AGAIN. Man, Iain is an such beautiful actor, he is so talented and sensitive. I really think that he was Jorad for Daenerys not only on screen, but off screen too. He seems to be an amazing person. Just like Emilia. Thank you very much Iain Glen, for sharing your talent with us.
I agree, that yellow shirt is the best! I mean he looks so damn handsome in that costume. I love him so much and I am terrified to find out what they did with Jorah 😥
The fact that he’s now gone and will NEVER live to see Dany make more progress than she already has is truly heart aching. That woman was his life, his reason for breathing. It didn’t matter that she couldn’t return his love, he accepted that, but the fact that all he wanted was to remain at her side. God damnit the onions...:(
@@AngelusX92 she wouldnt have done it anyway cuz thats not what dany is .even after all the stupid things happen to her shes gonna hate cersei not the ppl .real dany would destroy the red keep and thats it .
Thank you for this. I have loved Iain Glen for years, he is a brilliant actor and a lovely person. He is so sexy yet his kindness and humor shine through here, I will miss him as Jorah.
Iain is an amazing actor! He's a joy to watch, a relatable ,believable character more the most on this show..I felt every time I heard his voice that he was narrating GOT!lol
Interview about Ian Glen/Jorah Mormont. He talks about how great Emilia Clarke is al the time. That's so great. He is so much better than the books Jorah too... really glad to have this guy in the show.
One of my favorite moments in GOT is when Dany noticed the grey scale and then commands Jorah to heal himself and come back to her. We do not get many happy turnouts in this show but I was weeping tears of joy when that happened.
Seen people making comments about getting teary watching these on other "The Cast Remembers:" But this is the one that is .... that is truly.. Spectacular. I wasn't in tears, but it truly was emotional, Iain Glen is for sure my favourite actor of this show. Jorah was easily among the top 3 characters through all the season for me.
what he said about Emilia is so sweet! And he is such a good actor himself and handsome in a rough way. RIP Jorah ... his death and Dany's mourning with Drogon encasing her hit me the hardest.
Hakuna Matata You and I have the same choice man!! I equally love Ian and Aidan and their characters are my fav...Wishing they have Aiden tape too but chances are unlikely...fingers crossed
Man how powerful with the music and all. “Don’t expect any favours from that girl” Highlights a distinction. He really knows Jorah as this living being that he steps into. Dany and Jorah were always my favourite. There is such love in his voice when he speaks of his character and of Dany/Amelia And trust we all loved that yellow shirt!!
I have to say Jorah is is one of my favorite characters, at the same time so human, frail and human among the power-mongers inhabiting Westeros, and simultenaously so knightly and faithful to his Queen.
Jorah is my favorite character in all of Game of Thrones. He's a loyal and honourable man all the way through, and I would even dare say his honour rivals that of Ned Stark.
Imagine being Iain's daughter and seeing your Daddy as a real live knight in shining (albeit somewhat dented) armor! He and Rory McCann's story arcs have been my absolute favorites.
