Question: to NOT leave brush marks do you push pretty hard on the brush and make sure the coat is as thin as possible? Or just a lighter push and a thicker coat of sealant?
@@SEALCOATINGISLIFE I don’t understand So when you’re removing your tracks you tip the brush so it’s angled and the back side is off (not doing anything). So you’re pushing hard on the other side and removing all the coating you can?
*Greg, seeing the product swirling out at the beginning of the video was neat to watch. How thick is the product when it is finally spread out on the driveway?? Also how long does it take to be touch dry and then thoroughly dry to be driven on??? Great filming too.*
Every second the material is out of the tank, it’s drying. It’s water-based so it begins evaporating immediately. The longer you wait, the thicker it becomes. Drying time depends on a few factors. I made a RU-vid short explaining them. The rule of thumb is: 24 hours to walk and 48 hours to dry.
The finished work doesn't look all nasty and shiny like black gloss paint. Everyone I talk to (I need this done) says it's going to be shiny. I want Matte. Do I have to just be patient that gloss would go away?
It depends on what products you are using and what additives you’re putting in your mix. I have a few videos where I show what it looks like after 6 weeks. Our product always dries matte-black
@@SEALCOATINGISLIFE I don't suppose you can share the secret of your product/mix so I can try to find someone who might be game? Yours looks so nice! I literally searched to see if you're in my area/state. Nope :(
It’s all about scheduling. Driveways in full sun are done first thing in the morning. Also, we’re never sealing past 1pm. In extreme heat, we won’t work past 12pm.
I'm just inquisitive to know who is it you cover your face while doing it . PLEASE I DONT WANT ANY RUDE REMARKS GIVEN TO ME I JUST WANT TO KNOW TGATS ALL
Just my 2 cents worth but I don’t like the fast, sled up version. The music was so smooth and slow paced and your video was in ffw most of the time. That didn’t work for me and I felt cheated ☹️. Please don’t make this a regular thing.
@@SEALCOATINGISLIFEAwesome! I think that adding the length of time it took to the description would be helpful to viewers. I was thinking it took two days, since it was broken up into two parts.
Opening scene - One day, he's just doing his regular stuff just like in this video. Suddenly, he hears gunshots from inside. Then he realises that the house belongs to the mafia & the boss has been shot. Imagine how the things will pan out from there on. It will be over extreme fun😮😮
I just had mine re-sealed for the second time. The 1st time the man rolled it like you. The 2nd time a different man had a Crew & he sprayed it. I seem to like the spraying better. He had to be very careful since my home & garage in white vinyl & I have a 526' white panel fence. I will be having it done every 2 years
@@SEALCOATINGISLIFE He used the brushes on the edges the whole length of the driveway then sprayed the the middle overlapping. It turned out great. He prepped in the morning-went & did other jobs-came back at 6 pm when there was no wind-done in less than a hour & my driveway is quite long with a wide back out of the garage (16' wide after the 20' approach )
