Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure introduced a complete overhaul of the Daily Login Rewards. Instead of being rewarded for simply logging in, you get to do a few daily, weekly, or even special tasks for Astral Acclaim.
This new currency can be spent on items in The Wizard's Vault, among which we have a Legendary Starter Kit that can be purchased for 1000 Astral Acclaim.
This kit will already provide you with the Precursor Weapon, a Gift of the Quip, Meteorlogicus, The Bifrost, or Bolt, as well as either a Gift of Might or a Gift of Magic.
Receiving these for free will significantly reduce the cost of any of the 4 Generation 1 Legendary Weapons that you can currently craft. But if this is your first time crafting, the remaining materials might still seem out of reach.
I want to combat this with this guide. I'll go over which components we still need to gather ourselves, how to obtain them, and we'll try to spend as little gold as possible along the way.
