For the people keep asking about me stopping hunting there was many reasons..... First off on RU-vid I was having strikes against my channel for graphic content and having videos that contain (LEGAL) hunting demonetised and age restricted! Also with the new show and how popular my videos are I don’t want the “Poacher” image or blood and guts all over my channel as a lot of my viewers don’t hunt. Basically I want the channel to have a clean image for all types of viewers 👍 Another reason is I wasn’t putting the meat I was shooting to good use and I’m a big believer of only kill it if you’re going to eat it! I’m all for hunting and love pretty much every type of it but it’s just not something I do personally anymore 👍 Oh yeah and I’ve definitely not turned vegan I love steak to much 🥩😂
John, please don't let RU-vid or angry keyboard warriors change who you truly are and what you enjoy doing (Catty hunting). If people don't like it then they shouldn't watch plan and simple!!!! I know you sell a lot of the highest quality catapults and need to use RU-vid for advertisement and product updates but let me just say that you being you and your hunting videos is the real reason your true fan base is here. We are here because you inspire most of us with your amazing hunting skills and to also experience your unbelievable capabilities with a catapult. Keep on keeping on my friend and hopefully we can see you "On the Mooch" again soon. Shaun
I just hope the newer, wannabee, or any aspiring to hunt follow the rules. You should be getting 80% hits on targets at your intended hunting range. There should not be a lot of wounded animals in the wood trying to survive. And if you think you're going to be hunting say, squirrel at 50 yards (or meters), you should not be out there at all!
About the search for U-forks: There's not many big forests in UK, while we in Sweden have them more or less in every direction - but what do we find there? Spruce and pine. None of them good for U-forks. You're better out in UK, I envy you. Thanks for the Show, a splendid initiative.
Nice one looking foreword to seeing future episodes.. I've only been shooting a few months and am learning all the time hopefully you'll have loads of tips for the newbies lol 👍👍👍
Great John!! I like the g zed k black!! I’m happy to wait for the ppmg plus later this year, let us know when it’s hot off the line. I want an under 100 number. Thank you sir.
Wicked, great to see a catapult channel. When I was a kid in the 80's i had a black widow with the arm brace and I was an evil shot and I still think about the good times me and my mates with our catapults. I'm going to subscribe to the channel.
@@GAMEKEEPERJOHN we are indeed John lad. I've just got well enough to start cattying again mate, our Ben and everyone else have "claimed" most of me cattys, but I've held on to me PP, which I've just rebanded and I love, and I still kept hold of the original sappele models I got from you when you first started out. Watching this, I've defo got a ppmg+ "want one" on. Great to see you're still shooting and still healthy. Stay good
hey john just found u again glad to see ur still doin ur thing...my friend and i still shoot the 2 gamekeepers u made for us with the theraband gold....must be 6/7 yrs ago now...glad to see u havnt lost ur touch lol
Good to watch a catapult/slingshot video that covers a variety of subjects. Look forward to seeing more and hopefully learning how to hit the proverbial barn door once winter has lifted. Will you be putting web links to the items that you review these shows?
I got a box like that, it's good. I use it indoors shooting spinners with the wasp blue plastic balls. You should review the MS Hunter by Mark Seljan, really nice frame.
Hi John, I would have a question for ep 2. How do you measure what the correct length of band is to ensure optimum performance/accuracy? Is there a rule to follow or just personal preference.
I would love to see you show us more of the stick shooter. Your other video you said it was powerful and accurate. Can you do a side by side comparison with your favorite catapult. I'm interested because I'm looking for an EDC. Thanks
You should have mentioned what material the pouch on the GZK was made of. Enjoyed the channel. I just like people being enthusiastic about their sport of hobby.
Hi John I no you say you don't hunt anymore but what bands make, thickness and cut would you recommend for out and out hunting using 9.5 steels ott ppmg all the way
Great video john🎯Just wondering on why when I shoot ott gangster the ball tends to fly higher than than my reference point which leads me to aim lower on most shots. Any reason why this may be occurring? Btw enjoy the new year.
Love your show John, they keep getting better and better! Could you tell me if it’s posable to be a good shooter useing instinctive aiming vs sight aim? I have a disibility that doesn’t allow my arm to get high enough to aim by sight. Thank you:0)
Hunting is my life with guns dogs and catapults so am shocked that you have stopped hunting love the new video think RU-vid have a bad attitude to hunting
been following you off and on but now subscribed, just wondering how to start aiming at targets, regarding hunting how close would one have to be, realistically, to get clean kill shot, thinking about rabbits
John when im practicing indoors i have plenty of power as soon as i leave the house i can see my ammo dropping as soon as its reached about 5 mtrs any advice ?
Great show. Watched twice already. I shoot with your Ali ppmg and ppsg 9.5 steel. Interesting about smaller ammo. I've never gone smaller than 9.5...only bigger. I even bought a 10mm lead mould. But I just cannot get on with anything bigger or heavier than 9.5mm. After watching your show I'm gonna order some 8mm though and give them a go. With 9.5 I use 30/20 or 25/20... what band size would you recommend for 7-8 mm ?......and are they up to the mark for hunting? Cant wait for episode 2. Nice one. 👍
I got the ppo cos I hate tying bands on, awesome frame. I think 7-8mm might be alright for headshots on birds but I think 9.5mm steel is minimum for anything else really. Bands it depends on how long the draw length is as well as the pouch, if you're not shooting butterfly and the pouch isn't too big then those bands will be fine for that. A lot of the time I practice with wasp plastic ammo probably lighter than 8mm steel using 1mm thick gzk bands with a 32inch draw and I don't have any problems shooting them.
Good show John look forward to the next one ,you said it's the hills made you out of breath sure it's not all the pies 🤣&Hope your not going vegan with giving up hunting 🤣👍🏼
hello from south bend Indiana USA. big fan. i have been into catapults so much that im thinking on traveling to the UK to join the catapult competition. my only question or request is can you show some of your designs? thank you
Awesome..dream to be a shooter like u john..but i'm newbies and still keep learning to make a perfect and accuracy shoot..may i know the thickness gzk black that you are using john?
