I love how cavers are just straight up about what they’re doing “this is bad dude, worst thing we’ve ever done. Just horrible, despicable. . . I’m going for it bro”
LMAO i‘m a mountaineer and we‘re the same, it‘s only complaints the whole way up, a moment of relief at the top, and then complaints all the way back down. the sights make it all worth it tho!!
I’m glad you guys don’t include any stupid music in the background. I feel like I’m in the cave with y’all, hearing you guys dragging your equipment around and the nice calm of the cave. Keep up the great content!
Damn! You guys are nuts! 'Action Adventure Twins! We'll sell you the whole seat, but you're only gonna need the edge!'. Love what you do! Thanks for taking us all along! Be safe, if you can!
This cave is SKETCH!!! I Caved 3 times, by my 3rd time, I had, had enough. Almost died from a rock falling above me, almost hit me. Would have crushed me. I'll never go in a cave again. I'm glad I can live out my curiosity vicariously through these videos haha. My anxiety is way to wild when it comes to caves despite my desire to explore them.
They just used judgement as all cavers do; doesn't mean ALL caves are as 'sketchy' as this or that caving is 'stupid'- Unexpected death is *everywhere;* car 'accidents', murder, collapsing buildings - 2 of my friends, both mid 40s & neither underweight, died VERY unexpectedly of heart attacks in their own homes. Easy to demonise caves as they grab headlines & people fear them, but cavers following guidelines & common sense are as safe as anyone else going about the world! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9JEv-ID48cg.html
I would say it's worth it if they were looking for something specific that would help geologists and science. This is just thrill seeking. As much as they think if it happens to them, it happens. It will be a nightmare for them if it does before they pass on. Hope it comes quick if it gets to that and I do not wish it on them. People who have a wife amd kids should not do this. Forget that, "die doing what you love" bullshit. You have family, be around to grow old with and for your family. People need to stop chasing shit that doesn't exist. Never gonna find that first high again.
@@Cpt.SnaggleTooth if you want to cave, you should be able to cave. The world was made to be explored. People die every day. Death is a wager for those who can accept these consequences.
Worst part of caving for me would be knowing everything you get past needs to be done again to get out. The further in you go the harder it is to get out. Every awful squeeze needs to be done twice over. Just knowing that while going into a tight spot would freak me out.
The parts that freak me out most are the tight squeeze crawls and you find out you can't turn around, or ones that have a tight bend that you can get your body into but very difficult to get out of.
For me the worst part about caving is the very second that all daylight has disappeared I have to close my eyes for just a moment so that I have no anxiety attack but I absolutely love being underneath the ground
@18:08 That shit terrifies me. Those super round smooth caverns mean some serious amounts of water moved through there... I would be so scared of a freak rainstorm above.
There's a film called The Borderlands where they crawl into the belly of a subterranean Lovecraft monster and the entranceway looks EXACTLY like this tunnel. Forget that.
when you scooped the crawfish out so no one squished him that was nice of you they have a very delicate ecosystem down there every little critter matters right down to the cockroaches and spiders, that's why it's important to never kill anything while In caves cause those bugs matter
Research the company killing off Mosquitoes throughout Entire Countries.. I haven't looked in a few years but I assume they have done serious damage by now.. plus they lied to everyone. They didn't like the Environmentalists they were having research the impact on wildlife such as Bats... so they highered one IN-HOUSE who just lied Brutally saying their is NO NEGATIVE IMPACT... It was Disgusting...
In the UK they’re decimating the rivers by eating fish eggs. There an invasive species and if you catch one it’s illegal to put it back. You’re supposed to kill it. They trap them and use them as ground bait for fishing.
@@higherlearning1013 Yup that's why the Left and their Masters have been eliminating American Meat Production as well as their similarly situated producers in Europe and such.. They will be pushing us to Eat Bugs made into Fake Meat, Fake Vegetables, etc... I had it tract to have been in full swing two years ago but I miscalculated or something... I don't think I'm wrong though.. I know I'm not wrong...
When I first started watching these videos, I got so involved that I started looking at prices for gear and such, and I'm 64. You guy's are incredible. Thanks again
Thank you guys for keeping your language clean enough that my small kids and I can enjoy watching this with you together. :) We don't know how you do this but it's pretty amazing for sure.
People undervalue this. watching something like this with your kids is awesome but most of the time whether it’s caving or something else peoples just use such foul language that my kids zero in on it.
Now I know what the spider that went down the sink drain experienced. This is the most harrowing, gut wrenching, phobic cave video that I have seen yet. Those boulders are held in place by mud. After seeing this, I doubt that there are any older and retired cave explorers. Good luck. You are the real muddy bottom boys.
Been caving in Iceland years ago. Now As a old man I Really enjoy watching you guys. Sometimes I have to watch in Segments because I start feeling a bit Jigy 😂. Never a dull moment watching. Thanks 👍❤
When scooped up the crawfish, that was just awesome!!! Made me smile. It was such a sweet gesture. 😀 the manner in which you all conduct yourselves, how you tackle obstacles big & small, your infectious curiosity, it’s refreshing. Keep up the great work!
There's just no way I could ever do what you guys do. The claustrophobia, the isolation and the over-the-top anxiety would be overwhelming. When I watched this video, I could feel an uncomfortable tension flowing through my nervous system even though I'm sitting in a room in a chair with plenty of space all around me. Thanks for posting this amazing video!
It is so clear that cave's ceiling is just rocks held together by mud - mud that keep washing away, leaving clean rocks. I can't imagine wanting to climb up through it, wondering if every sound reverberation is the trigger for something else to fall. The top of that dome looked so unstable. Glad nothing worse happened. It's amazing what water can do. I wonder how long that cave's been forming.
You kids are outright insane! You are so lucky that those boulder chokes didn't let loose when you were touching them and climbing under than over them! Those boulders would squash you like a bug! It's very cool to see the inside of these underground cave systems where water obviously has had it's way with the rock and carved out a path that you can make your way through it, but saying it's "Super Sketch" is the understatement of the year!
This reminds me of a time when a plumbing company called a certain plumber to go up under an old crawl space. No one else wanted to do it, but they called a certain breed of guy who had no problem with it
@@rosecontrena2274 I’ve done my fair share of it, especially with my own house and water pipe bursting. Spiders are one thing but seeing giant corpses of spiders that were torn apart and consumed and left on their webs is a different kind of eerie.
Collapse during exploration is something I've always wondered about, but never searched for. That was sketchy for sure, but I have complete confidence in your ability from watching so many of your explorations. Pushing out the cave, and that pocket you found at the end was quite a reward. Thanks for letting us all see it with you!
@@whatilearnttoday5295 There is a significant difference between deliberately taking a risk, and ignoring risk. If they were inexperienced cavers or uploading something reckless, I'd have a different view!
@@owlsnestt They're too young to know. Amygdala still mostly in control. Several times they evaluate things as too sketchy and then proceed anyway. This is the emotional seeking of rewards from past experiences, it leads to death.
The worst part about caves collapsing, is you really dont know when the total collapse is going to happen. It literally could have only been one rock left needing to come out of place for that thing to fall down, or it could have needed alot more, who knows.
Oh man I was really hoping that thing wouldn't collapse on y'all. That looked like it could go down on any minute. It Looked very unstable. I'm glad you guys made it out safe.
Can you please describe what the caves smell like when you’re exploring, approximate temperature of cave and water you’re in? Do you worry about collapse? What steps do you take to mitigate it? Thx for letting us explore with you vicariously!
They smell like dirt and rock, the temperature is a constant 56 degrees all year round. Most of the caves are decently stable, but when you get to a unexplored section like where the cave collapsed onto me, I could tell it was very unstable, and then the inevitable happened. I tried to avoid touching the walls but just a little tap sent the wall crashing down.
As a french native born and raised in Paris i loved to explore a totally different kind of caves the catacombes underneath the city Paris is a giant swiss cheese man men carved caves but in the mid 80's there was no maps available the catacombs some of them carved as far as 1680 was a fantastic playground for me 14 degres celsius all year around i used to spend till 72 hours down there looking exploring always with respect because there are millions of human remains in there I waa looking for a specific place it was a urban legend at that time (at least for me) the place were a human body was discoverd dating back the french revolution in 1789 it seems this man wanted to escape the terror at that time and tried to escape Paris through the catacombs i found the place there was a marble plate on the wall telling his story the poor man ran out of light food and water imagine yourself lost in pitch black dark place and i guess at that time thinking about monsters and religious stories. Hallucinating... this place is now well documented anyway that day it happened that i had the same kind of experience i ran out of batteries no light what so ever i sat down thinking i was going to die like this man when the adrenalin kicked in and i thought NO i cant stay there die like a victim i decided to try and thanks god after 3.4.maybe 5 hours i dont know i finally other catacombs lovers they helped me to reach the exit i continues to explore for few years then i grew up and didnt want to risk my life anymore after i met my wife and had kids
@@finrobinson9945 yes it is possible i know 1 way through the sewage tunel system and another one is in a very old railway tunel before there was 2 others but the police closed them
@@wweminehead5458 there is in a tunnel on a old railway named "la petite ceinture" there are no more trains using this tunnel. The entrance look like a hole in the wall. Maybe 60 centimeters high, 1 meter large so you have to crawl a bit but once you manage to go in, you are officially in the catacombs the problem is you MUST go with a person you trust 200%. Do NOT go in with people you dont know. Sometimes there are guys who will tell you that they know the place they will invite you to go with them and once in they will guide you for a little while and they will disappear and leave you underground alone. They dont do that to kill you or kidnap you no. They do this kind of thing because they just think it is funny, for them it is a good prank... Another thing this entrance is "famous". Homeless people live in the tunnel and there are all kind of funny business in there so... The 2nd entrance is in a way "safer" except it is in the middle of a street on a sidewalk. You have to open a very heavy sewage trapdoor i let you imagine the lack of discretion... its in the 14th district in front if a church (i dont remember the name) but there are a lot of sewage access on the sidewalks and if you dont know exactly which one is the one... even if i give you lots of details not sure you find it Anyway i am pretty sure that the 1st entrance is the easiest one to find
@@LexyThomas134 Another genius. Bro you don't push the boundaries unless you're experienced enough for it. Bottom line. They're asking for it, all for likes on RU-vid. What a world we live in
I totally understand the fun, thrill, curiosity of these videos and it’s awesome……. but please continue being careful & know when to back off; I’m no expert but that’s my opinion, still cool stuff!!! It’s a gamble regardless.
Congratulations for getting further than anyone else. Also, congratulations for having the smarts to turn around ... I know you wanted to see more, but I'm glad you didn't. Stay safe guys. Always praying for you all.
Wrong another RU-vid channel made it just as far 3 years ago. Just because they say it doesn't make it true. Just like trying said the cave collapsed on them right? They are full of shit in alot of there videos.
Good on you guys for staying safe, I like how you guys take on these challenges and keep things like that well in mind. Exploring caves is thrilling, I'm happy to tag along for the ride. :D
Given that quartz vein in the ceiling of that cave right before the suicide crawl, you should really check out what's in that sand. Might be some really cool rocks...
When I enter any cave. My brain just starts to think that it will crush me. I appreciate it how you guys don't fear go deep inside the caves to explore and without any hesitation. You guys are awesome. 👏👏👏👏
they might love it but they constantly put them selves in wildly dangerous and anxiety inducing situations because they know it blows up on the internet. Cant remember his name but theres another guy on YT that does even gnarlier caves and the amount of professionalism between that and what you see from these kids is on complete opposite sides of the spectrum.
@@AlexanderZapataIndividual I think of their parents. Loosing both sons will be devastating for them. Let’s face it , what these guys do extremely dangerous. I pray they stay safe.
Thanks for the new upload lads! Just recently found your channel and im pretty sure Im close to watching all of your guys videos. Love your guys' convos and funny jokes while down in the caves. keep it up bois

“Gly”: Alright guys, on this one you managed to raise my anxiety and that’s tough to do. The whole time you were in there I couldn’t help but think of potential rain events on the surface but I’m sure your keeping an eye on the forecast. You remind me so much of myself when I was your age, I miss my spelunking days, they were really good times.
totally agree. I was looking at those walls, and thinking this whole thing, is all water made. Any rush of water, and it would have been game-over. So many areas where you can get stuck, and so many areas where there was no way to turn around. Watching this is worse than having a cop drive up behind you after you have been speeding. I need to go pet my dog, to get my heart rate down.
I love caves. They are super freakin cool. No way I could ever do this belly crawl business. There are plenty of neato caves where the hardest part is just ducking your head down a little bit. Totally enjoyable. Edit: Thank goodness for these videos. I know for certain I do NOT ever want to do this. I feel pressure on my chest sitting here on my couch. That’s a NO from me dog.
I reckon even a blind Vole would have second thoughts about mapping these tunnels out! He'll be like 'fuck this! way too small for me!' Impressive fellas! Follower from the 🇬🇧.
@@MikeyD0 there are plenty of people that push boundaries in an educated and responsible way. Then there are these guys that seem to be somewhat reckless, and without any real methodology. People like this are almost guaranteed to die "doing what they love" as opposed to the ones that take the time to train, educate themselves and use discipline to make it as safe as possible. They are the ones that usually "live while doing what they love"

Have you ever thought of using RC cars to look ahead where it appears that it's gonna be a tight space to crawl through? I could guess some of the limitations such as having to carry one and so forth.
Some of these caves can be miles. And 100s of yards of crawling. You’d be hard pressed to get an rc back in a lot of these types of tight spaces in one piece. But their are caves that start as tunnels you could explore from the outside that would let you know if you should even enter or not in the first place. That’d be cool.
@@AP500yd Not a small drone for low ceilings but a remote controlled car if they even come with the cameras as the drones do. However a drone could possibly be used in a big room or a pit.
Just discovered this channel! Am I the only one who has multiple moments of anxiety when I watch these two? Love your videos, my claustrophobia would never let me!
If you think this is bad you should check out a channel called caveman hikes. This video is literally nothing compared to the right spaces caveman hikes goes into it’s legitimately scary
@LoveReignsDown Always No you aren’t the only one anxious AF. I’m a new subscriber too and am enjoying their videos. I love their excitement and zest but dang, I get so tense when they are squeezing through tight spots. I know they are experienced and know what they are doing but accidents happen…right.
These kind of vids are the only reason I know what anxiety is... I could probably do it if it was life or death, but this wouldn't be fun for me. I do like watching other people do it tho lol
@@kspen6110 😅 I for real came across a video yesterday that I couldn't even get past the 3 minute mark! It's titled something like 'Do Not Watch This if You Have Claustrophobia'.

Hooked on these spectacular videos that you gentlemen capture inside the earth! Stunning and extreme doesn't even begin to describe what you guys do! Keep 'em coming! Please!!!
Im curious about the safety measures you use if any. Do you let someone know which cave you're going in and when to expect you back? Do you have anything like a avalanche transceiver or low frequency radios in case of an emergency? A live Q and A would be awesome. thanks for the content!

This was the best video I've seen so far! Optional name for your channel: Sketchy Caving. Thanks for not using foul language too! No, i don't watch with kids. Just appreciate really appreciate your consideration!
That crawl fish was chill with it ,that a second he put his hand by it I thought it would pinch him and you could hear his scream throughout the whole cave lol
Recently found a mine in California with water flowing out. Was much like a cave, and i got my feet and shoes wet. That was enough for me. What you guys do scares the crap out of me. However, mines are all man made and collapsing and can collapse at anytime. So the fear factor is much the same.
Highly watchable and entertaining, not expecting a documentary, and no added background music, 10/10 for taking us on another of your caveing adventurers
It's funny because I suffer from really bad claustrophobia but at the same time I'm absolutely fascinated by people who explore caves and what they find so several times during the video I have to just look away or cover my eyes but I end up wanting to look
I love watching your videos! My anxiety goes crazy since I’m extremely claustrophobic, but I always watch until the end! You all keep up the great work, and stay safe out there! Have a great day!
Watching from beneath my covers with my cat after work. My new de-stressing routine after everyone else is asleep. This one WAS a little stress inducing though with all the tight squeezes. 💕
WOW, having debris falling around me would certain get my attention and I'd have to leave ASAP. Never know when a huge rock comes down after small rock fall... Thumbs Up!
I don't know a thing about squeezing through narrow passages in a cave, but my unprofessional opinion says you two are taking unnecessary chances. DON'T DO THAT, please! I really don't want you guys to get hurt. On the other side... this was Hella fun! Thanx-)
that's what they live for on this channel. one of the last videos I watched was one where he went alone into a cave that was flooding and kept going. he could've drowned or got stuck and he was alone. It was mind-blowing. I love watching their videos but I don't want to see them get hurt or someone try and do what they did after watching.
Hey! In future vids, can you show the installation of the bolts and tell us what you use to do it? Just curious as to how many tools you have to pack in,and what all you look for when anchoring the bolts. Thanks!
I watched it and there was kinda a part where it was collapsing but if you think about it then sure it's clickbait because it didn't directly collapse on him
