The Cedars-Sinai Center for Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics (CBFG) is an integrated, interdisciplinary research group established in 2016. The CBFG has the common goal of developing end-to-end research workflows for genomic and high-throughput functional analysis of patient samples. The CBFG is led by co-directors Simon Gayther, PhD, and Benjamin Berman, PhD.
The Center for Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics team of 21 onsite personnel includes research scientists, administrative support staff, assistant professors, international collaborators, postdoctoral scientists and doctoral students from the Cedars-Sinai PhD Program in Biomedical and Translational Sciences.
