check out my latest review on the all new CFX by Tethrd, drop a line and let me know what you think of this new line of carbon products. Are the safe, what about ease of use? Let us know.
Great review, very fair. I am sure they will be happy to get the feedback and gen 2 should be even better. Personally, I am anxiously waiting for them to come out with a One-Stick platform.
Thank you, it’s definitely not an easy thing to do. I think people can get lost in the product vs the company often relating the two. Tethrd is a great company and produce some awesome saddle hunting gear! The CFX just needs a little work.
looks like the carbon teeth dont actually bite they just slide up and down whenever you switch sides. the predator with teeth doesnt slide like that? im going with the arsenal razr i think. good review
Used the XL for 80+ sits this year (I work for Tethrd) in all weather conditions from 10 degrees to 90. You for sure have to rough up the teeth to keep it from popping on super hard bark trees. I tried to break mine. I put it through the ringer with no issues. This is real carbon fiber with an actual layup, not a carbon composite. I do find it a bit strange the noise yours made when you first got on it, I haven’t experienced that with the ones I have used. I feel like it flexes a good bit less than the aluminum version
The ninja! Thanks for the feedback, I spoke with Ernie and he mentioned 60 grit so I’ll have to try that out. The amount of carbon dust around the CNC cuts dang near made this thing scent free, haha. My flex comparison was interesting, it definitely looks like it can hold up to the 300 lb weight rating.
@@Brian-R It was my understanding that they were before shipped. But it’s just a part of regular maintenance, I do it on the aluminum version as well from time to time
