I knew Drew was the main producer but these really make it look like Alex takes a back seat in the whole process while Ian and Drew bounce off eachother

Alex does help in the production, but not as much as drew. Most part is done by drew and other producers. Alex is the dj guy, he most probably makes their dj sets.

also don't sleep on alex, we've seen other snippets where he just plays something random, it strikes a chord (pun intended) with drew and then he's off and running. having too many chefs in the kitchen and not enough cooks is why a lot of groups dissolve.

Cyanide sounds so sick. Very similar to some of Flume's stuff like Hyperreal, Take a Chance or Numb & Getting Colder (in a good way that is just so far from any genre)
