Never been to an area with population over 40,000 have you? Where I work the building has over 100 floors. Ever seen what happens when a building with over 100 floors has everyone getting off work? You aren't talking about a difference of 5 minutes. You are talking about 45 minutes getting to the bottom. That is after you wait 30 minutes to get on the thing. I live in China, the most populated country in the world. I live in a city that is 4x the largest city in Latin America. I've also lived in Tokyo. Another hugely populated city. At the same time, I've lived in a small town with 40,000 people. Have you ever actually traveled the world? Seen how much land is out there with NOTHING on it? Did you know, the entire world population could stand next to each other in the city of Jacksonville in Florida? It only has a population of around 800,000. It isn't that people couldn't live further out and away from each other. It is that they CHOOSE not to. Ever been to Russia? China? America? Brazil? Ever seen how much land is there? How about Mongolia? Did you know, Mongolia has 600,000 SQUARE MILES of land, and a population of less than 4 million? Oh, and if you gave everyone in the world a 33x33 foot plot of land, it would only cover the state of Texas. Imagine that, you could fit everyone in the USA if you wanted to. No reason to worry about population.
