People underestimate how much of a fight Inter gave City in that final. They created really big and really good chances and dominated City throughout the game except for the period between the 60th and 70th minute.
The World Cup 2014 final wasent any bit exciting for me at all, when literally waiting 113 minutes for the first goal to be scored. Back then I started watching full games of football, but I wasent that intrested for these reason with so many missed chances in there, even with Messi. World Cup 2022 final was bit more exciting, but only close to the end of the game the goals started comming in a lot more.
@@vibechek and u said that you’ve only been watching them from 2016, so no wonder u think they aren’t great from the early 2000’s to maybe 2013 the ucl was at its prime🤷🏾♂️
2023 Final being the worst? A huge disrespect to Inter Milan fanse, whose teams really outclassed Manchester City until unfortunate things happened thanks to Romelu Lukaku's mishap. The worst Champions League Final is 2019, though.
It's still a great game, though. Juventus had showed a fight on the first half with a good defense and even equalised the game after Ronaldo's stunner.
To be honest coming from a Barcelona fan but it just shocks me seeing how triggered people sometimes get by not seeing Real Madrid winning a UCL they have already won 14 UCLS now let other teams do their best also… How much more UCL do they need now? 23? And again, no hate or bias to Madrid and madrid fans
thats the difference btw a small team and a big team, the big boy always keeps coming for more, while the small one becomes complaciente, the winning mentality.
For me Champions League finals have always been around same amount of exciting as they have been before. The diffrence is that in 2016-2018 Real Madrid had top tier football team with world class player in every single position of their team, so thats why they could create with world class football players more exciting Champions League finals.
The 2019 final was one of the worst finals ever for a neutral, I started watching 5 mins in and thought Spurs were one man down with how poor they played. D or F Tier
Lol this guy just wants real Madrid to win every year his video is nonsensical and completely ignores his own bias. man city have been positioned as the worst thing to happen for football in the past 20 years. So any thing they do is seen as horrible and boring. He doesn't take into account that it was a first UCL after years of failing spectacularly..that this inter team put up a huge fight to hold the highest scoring side that competition from scoring. He ignores the road to the final, as they were the undefeated, which has only happened maybe once? Saying this is a bad final is one of the worst takes and reeks of bias.
Saying the 2023 final is boring shows u have zero ball knowledge. This final was super fun. Not a or s tier but definitely b tier, the chances from both team were pretty solid, the game kept me on my toes for the whole 90 minutes. Lukaku plaing for man city instead of inter, rodri scoring the screamer
Worst one was really 2019, Liverpool took the lead through a quite lucky penalty and just sat back. But if you really want to see how boring it could get, you got to watch the 2010 Mourinho masterclass😅
2016 UCL Final 8/10 2017 UCL Final 10/10 2018 UCL Final 8/10 2019 UCL Final 7/10 2020 UCL Final 7.5/10 2021 UCL Final 2/10 2022 UCL Final 8/10 2023 UCL Final 4.5/10
Unpopular opinion: Real Madrid winning the UCL is boring now, it’s amazing g if any other team wins it (except plastic clubs) but Real Madrid winning it just feels... Eh another UCL won by los blancos
Nah I’ve been enjoying the champions league this season, it’s been my favorite post Covid champions league. But idk abt next year because of the format change.
