The Chao Garden Needs To Come Back

I’d disagree I think the reason no one uses the SA1 Garden is because of, some of the reasons I said in the video, but also the SA2 garden being so much more advance with its mechanics. People still play the new Pokémon games every year so if they got a new garden and each game after allowed transfers it could be a serious less great feature.

I think that's a pretty poor argument. Why play Sonic 1 when you can play Sonic 2? People will play what they like regardless of a superior version existing or not. I regularly go back to my GameCube Chao even though I have the 360 HD version of Adventure 2.

@@MemeinAndDreamin Sonic 1 is a different game than Sonic 2. Each level is different. There is reason to pick it over 2. The Chao Garden in SADX is the exact same with SA2B, except stuff like the Hero Dark Alignment are more annoying to interact with. People wanting to start raising Chao won't do it in every Sonic game they play. They'll pick one version of the garden and raise there, especially if it's the exact same thing with no alterations, as Nick advocates for. You say you go back to your GameCube Chaos. That's cool. Do you go back to your 360 Chaos? And when you do go back to them, do you start raising new ones or evolving the ones you have, grinding for hours in the game, or do you check in with them, maybe give them an animal or two and turn the game off? I don't believe the Chao Garden can provide replayability for more than one game at a time. If Chao raising is the same regardless of the game you're playing, why invest time in a new game's Chao Garden when you're already raising Chao in another game? Let's say Sonic Frontiers has the SA2B Chao Garden with little to no alterations. Why invest time in that, while all your Chao you're attached to are stuck in the Game Cube? Wouldn't raising Chao there make more sense, since that's where you've made more progress?

You sound like a very unfun person, and your arguments fall pretty flat. The achievements in SA2 that are tied to chao are very simple to complete and if done as fast as possible, take about an hour at most. When giving certain animals to a chao it does sometimes lower stats, but thats why chaos drives are a thing. Chaos drives dont lower any stats and instead raise stats depending on what chaos drive you use. For races, you arent "helplessly watching" as your chao races. You can cheer to make them move faster, while using a bit of their stamina,, not to mention that raising stats for specific races can make your chao bomb rush through a race. Adding back the chao garden and having achievements tied to it isnt "forcing it onto everyone", it's giving players a new feature. If you're that obsessed with getting 100% achievements then spending an hour tops shouldn't be a big deal to you, since you'll likely be spending more hours doing something even grindier than raising a chao as quickly as possible to get the achievements out of the way. TL;DR: You probably don't have many friends.

@@TheGamerFreddie Theres also such a thing as having valid points for your preferences. You claim how "incredibly upsetting" that a feature which is easily ignored with 0 consequences is to you. You claim its depressing that you have to spend an hour of your life doing something for your 100% achievement badge / trophy / bar that nobody will ever see nor care about. I completely understand the feeling of getting 100% on a game, it is pretty neat albeit pointless unless the game rewards you with something worthwhile in-game for getting every achievement, but the fact something you have to do for an hour to be able to get your 100% is so upsetting to you is so on the spectrum its stunning to me. There is absolutely no way that you have a single friend that isn't strictly online, as people on the spectrum (like you, as the evidence has pointed out) cannot make any friends in person unless that person is on the spectrum as well. Please do the world a favor and get a job, it seems like you play too much video games.
