I feel like this approach, going through the archetypes of EDH, and maybe some popular cEDH lists from the cedh database is definately the way to go with this series, rather than focusing on specific commanders.

I would contend that the essence of these chaos decks is best embodied by Thieves’ Auction, Scrambleverse, and Warp World - you do weird and goofy stuff that you wouldn’t normally see in a game of Magic. They’re no more or less “stupid” than what these decks normally do. Something being “complicated and confusing” is literally the goal of a deck whose objective is making interesting board states and unusual situations.

Chaos and Group Hug is surprisingly good at winning games, when people let you do your thing cause it helps them it lets you set up a board that can't be dealt with. Group Hug has given me the most wins in Commander out of every other deck I have.

heads up for anyone wanting to use this deck: eye of the storm and hive mind are both cards that some players don't appreciate and if you manage to get both down your pod may decide that instead of sorting out how they interact every time someone casts an instant/sorcery it would easier to remove you from the game (hi clarie)

I know you’re likely gonna follow popularity first but I’d love to see a video on brudiclad, or honestly any other commanders that are odd colors for their archetypes

I'll rule 0 in Shahrazad into my deck before the game to an unsuspecting group of players.

If you play Hive Mind you are obligated to use one of the Future Sight Pacts that cause players to lose the game if they can't pay mana

I would say scrambleverse is a lot quicker to resolve than thieves auction, because all you do is put every card in a pile and roll a d12 for every card. Went super quick every time the card resolves. Thieves auction on the other hand is basically sheherazade in that it forces you to play another game for a while.

For Goblin Game instead of having people physically hide objects, you can just have everyone write down their number and reveal them at the same time. The payoff of people losing life is still unimpressive though
