He didn't say God was punishing him with His wrath, he said he thought that God removed his protection aka his spiritual armor. God pouring out His wrath and God removing His protection from a person (or a nation) are two completely different things from a Biblical perspective. In the Great Tribulation near the end of days, God will allow the Anti-Christ to come to power and kill most of the people on the Earth, but that is a completely separate event from God pouring out his Holy wrath which comes after the day of judgment. ❤
@imdbtruth if there's any such thing as spiritual armor, taking the DPH alone takes it off. It'd be like driving 100mph without a seatbelt, wrecking, and then getting disfigured and then saying, "Why did God do this to me" I think attributing everything to a divine purpose isn't useful behavior. It takes your attention away from the actions that lead to the behavior that lead to it in the first place.

Even if you’re religious, I think you should realize that when you make bad decisions (like taking a drug without being fully prepared and doing your research), you will experience consequences that are not necessarily “God’s wrath”. What he did was the equivalent of eating a ton of junk food, then blaming god for him getting fat.

Im atheist but religion has a place in the world ive seen meth, heroin and other drug addicts turn to Christianity and it changes their lives, its amazing but I also believe in the placebo effect so idk.
God has intervened and saved my life on three occasions so far. All I can tell you is that God is real, and you should be fearful to speak blasphemy. The universe is hyperdimensional, so you might not necessarily see something when it's sitting right next to you. From my experience and educational perspective, the Bible is the Truth. The Bible itself doesn't talk too much about demons and angels, because if you wear the spiritual armor of God, then demons can never get near you anyway. You did not evolve from a single-celled organism, which is virtually impossible anyway... I've heard lots of non-Christians talk about certain drug trips "lifting the veil into the spirit world"... And I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that many people will see the same types of entities. This guy is a Christian, so he's interpreting it through a Biblical lense, but from what I understand, a lot of people have what they consider "spiritual" experiences during a trip.
@@imdbtruthit's a feeling of profound understanding and connectedness. I've felt it from scientific epiphanies, drug induced euphoria, and completely sober while participating in close knit communities. It really is independent of religion or spirituality, though commonly associated with it.

Hospitals used to use scopolamine to supposedly calm people before surgery. I had terrible effects from it twice. Like from calm to the worst anxiety in my life in seconds. I always inform doctors about my horrible reaction just in case, although hospitals no longer use it. It is in some motion sickness meds. A doctor told me that it was only some women and all cats that had the terrible effects.
