My favorite thing about Usopp is that he may be a coward, he may run away, he may even take the easy way out but when the crew need him most he will literally sacrifice everything and give his all to help them

Usopp having conquerors haki sounds crazy except he's had some of the most character growth in the straw hats and probably will continue to have it

If you count in all kingdoms they saved he truly has 8000 men

Imagine how Zoro would react if Usopp got conquerors haki before Sanji

Honestly I want USOPP to have the strongest observation Haki in one piece (far better than katakuri) by the end of the series.

The "mole" in Kaya's estate could also be considered for "captain Kuro" since he was a mole for his pirate group in her estate.

Wait, what if the whole "I have 8000 men" thing that Usopp always says is the post Wano number for the strawhat grand fleet; with some of Kaido's former allies uniting to serve under luffy, and adding to the 5600 original members to reach 8000.

I lost it at Nosetrasamus 🤣🤣🤣💀. Ussop is in my opinion a great narrative perspective from people unendowed with super strength, devil fruits or noble birth. I think Oda is using Ussop's stories as a kind of story within the OP story. Great review as always!

Going with Usopp's haki we know he gained observation haki in Dressrosa but consider how Usopp had defeated some of his enemies. Mr. 4: was faked out with a fake 5 ton hammer made of a frying pan or something and seemingly knocked out temporarily Perona passed out and had a fear of him after waking up when he faked her out with toy cockroaches and a fake inflatable 10 ton hammer balloon Sugar was litterally traumatized by Usopp and his reaction to the fake grape she made him eat, being knocked out, not once but twice because of him scaring the shit out of her. As the story progresses, Usopp finds ways to both traumatize and knock out his opponents with less physical power and more psychological presence. Conquer's haki is about one's ability to overpower their opponents will with their own influence, knocking them out. Usopp's progressing to the point where he is capable of dealing with enemies that seem invincible at the time/ perona and sugar, and beating them through fear of him and some incredible amounts of luck.

Usopp already has conqueror's haki, it's so strong he literally warps time and space with it to make it seem like he lies.

As the story goes on, The StrawHat GrandFleet"s members will increase to 8000, Luffy being luffy will give responsibility of leading the grandfleet to the Great Ussop. Hence, USSOP will have 8000 FOLLOWERS...

When I first read one piece, I remember disliking Usopp for the longest time. Gradually, I came to love him as a character. In my honest opinion he is the definitive example of character growth in one piece. I would love to see him become "the demon king" Edit: as a bit of a side note, what if the predictions have to do with observation haki? With Usopp being the sniper of the crew and demonstrating observation haki already, what if his observation haki is just insanely good, able to see far into the future. Just a thought.

I suspect that after the Wano arc, he will upgrade his Sogeking mask with a Hannya mask, like the one that Kiku and Yamato wore. It will probably end up in his upgraded bounty and thus he will get that title.

Considering that Usopps biggest hurdle to overcome is his insecurity, it’s entirely possible that deep down he does have conquerors haki, but because of how often he stands off to the sides in fights, he simply hasn’t given himself a chance to awaken it. His observation haki only awoke because of the intense stress he was under in the moment, so could happen with other forms of haki too.

At the end of one piece Usopp will no longer be a liar. It's enough to make a man cry

One thing that you overlooked is that Usopp NEARLY visited the island that was goldfish excrement. That was the destination of the log pose that Nico Robin tried to give the crew when they were leaving Whiskey Peak.

I can easily see a situation where Usopp is alone and surrounded by a ton of enemies, causing him to emit a conquerers haki scream of fear. This would naturally result in not only the enemies around Usopp fainting, but Usopp also being unconscious.

Are we sure Usopp doesn't have the power to warp reality? He speaks a word and the world warps around him to bring that thing into existence.

About the "lie" Usopp told about a medicine that could cure any illness I'd like to say it doesn't only match with Chopper's dream but also with his flashback and Hiluluk, Hiluluk was a thief with an incurable illness according to the best doctors in the world and he went across the ocean (as Usopp says) to find his illness cured by the sight of cherry blossoms on an island, so it's already not a total lie.

I think I've figured out how Usopp will end up called Demon King, and I think it's inextricably tied to two other things he's said. One is his becoming a "brave warrior of the sea," and the other is "I'll die if I go to that island." Yes, I know a lot of people (apparently you included) deem that to have been fulfilled through the unknown disease that kept Buggy from going to Laugh Tale, but I don't think so; that might have established something akin to an "I'll-die-if-I-go-to-that-island disease" in universe, but Usopp specifically said that he himself would die upon going to that island. I believe that Usopp himself is indeed going to die upon going to that island. The question is, what is "that island?" Clearly it wasn't any other the numerous islands they visited when he said this, so what island will it be? I think there are two possibilities. First and possibly most obvious would be that "that island" is the island that is the main objective of the Strawhat Pirates: Laugh Tale. The second possibility is that "that island" is the island has become Usopp's own goal: Elbaf. Whichever one it is, I suspect that something will happen when they reach "that island" which will result in Usopp sacrificing himself to save the rest of the Strawhats. Doing this will result in him being widely acknowledged as "a brave warrior of the sea." (NOTE: this will NOT be a case where a character appears to die but through some shenaniganry is still alive; Usopp will actually be dead, confirmed by Chopper.) But, following Usopp's death, once the rest of the crew are safe, he will be brought back to life (if this happens on Laugh Tale, it might be through something connected to the One Piece, but regardless of what it is, I'm sure Oda-sensei will make it interesting). Having conquered even death itself, Usopp's infamy and reputation will grow even more and he will be call Demon King (because surely only a Demon King could hold that kind of power). That's my theory. If you like it, by all means feel free to cover it in a forthcoming video. Either way, this video was a lot of fun! As always, looking forward to more!

Honestly my favorite character in the series.

He is my favorite character in one piece, Oda's technique of character development for him pre time skip was so unique, i have never seen anything like it in any form of literature, i wish oda would give us more of him

This may seem a bit over the top, but sometimes I'm not having a good time mentally, overthinking too much and tearing myself down and sometimes I just need some simple, easy to follow entertainment and this channel always gives me that. I love One Piece and it's already a happy place for me and listening to someone being fascinated by it and diving into these things makes me happy for a little while!

Usopp has always been one of my favorite characters. I have loved watching his growth throughout the series as he started so much lower then everyone else and has come so much farther. Also he has some of the funniest scenes

I think the 8000 pirates will be the straw hat fleat. It is easy to imagine a scenario where Luffy and the other heavies need to take out the core of a major villain's forces, be it a Warlord of the sea or an Admiral. However reinforcements were called for, so Ussop is railroaded into leading the fleet to buy Luffy and the others time by harassing the reinforcements.

Usopp ate the foreshadow foreshadow fruit. it gives him powerful clairvoyance that seems ridiculous when he says something, but it turns out to be true in the end. From a story standpoint though, I feel like Oda uses Usopp as the main way of foreshadowing in the series.

When Ussop talks about the mole, he specifically says on this estate. Since Clavador was only there to get Kaya's money, wouldn't that make him the mole Ussop would be referring to?

Usopps most common tagline is having 8000 followers, and seeing his connection with giants (little garden, enies lobby) whenever he sees them, we can speculate that when elbaf will follow luffy into war there will be 8000 giants under usopp. Also usopp has very rarely missed throughout the series after his fluke of a shot. The only time when he missed during a critical situation was accidentally hitting zoro with the handcuffs in enies lobby.

I love usopp he is so relatable and I seriously empathies with him, i definitely believe he will awaken conquerors haki at some point.

This is one of my favorite parts of Oda’s storytelling-he gets to a point, especially with Usopp, in the most roundabout and surprising way possible. He became God Usopp in the eyes of the people in the dressrosa arc by making a face, not by by any sort of physical strength. Maybe he will become the demon king and it’ll basically be a complete accident. It’s so funny and clever!

I'm just waiting for Usopp to be revealed as an actual descendant of Mont Blanc Noland.

It is really amazing how the Grand Line Review always tries to step up and always does more with every video, just like Luffy is constantly getting better throuout the story. For the next upgrade I suggest a more challenging opening question to win or loose the "Subscribe" button, maybe we could get more possible answers, 3 or 4? For example "whoose this nose. Blackeard, catarina Devon or usopp". Because one should think "hei, the least obvious possible answer is the correct one, because they want us to subscribe so for sure it's not going to be the obvious one" and bam! You are Oda styled and the obvious answer is usually the correct one :D I subscribe not matter the stakes but its still a fun thing to do

I’m gonna say this seriously, but currently when I comment this, the two straw hats who have conquerors haki is Luffy (the king of pirates), and Zoro (the worlds greatest swordsman). Although they currently aren’t, they will become them. They both include being the best, and sanji’s dream, to find the all blue does not require him to be the best at anything. The only other member of the straw hats who have being the best as their dream, is usopp who wants to be king of snipers. And as we know Zoro and Luffy who will eventually be number 1 at something, wether that be a swordsman pirate or sniper. So it would make sense if usopp got conquerors haki aswell.

Maybe usopp ate a devil fruit of - whatever lies told comes true 🤣🤣🤣

I'd love to see Usopp make friends with some kind of animal that ends up eating a devil fruit (would be a good way to have a new devil fruit user on the crew without limiting members who can swim, and let us see a new user all the way through the process) and Usopp once again becomes almost OP by association. I think a bird with some kind of fruit that let's them share sight would be awesome and give Usopp plenty of new angles and opportunities to take out enemies. I always wanted to mention this but never found an opportunity. One Piece, like many other popular anime series, has character songs for quite a few of the major characters. One of Usopp's many songs is "Lies Come True", a theme for his post-timeskip self. I think that we should hold Usopp's "lies" to a higher standard than most other in-world conjecture. After all, he did say that Luffy would be the man to become the "Pirate King"

By the way, when Usopp said the wonder medicine, it could also be talking about Marcos Phoenix flames.

I love this theory and bought into it years ago. But after buying into it I don't understand why some people gets upset about Usopp becoming so strong. I would say sanji too but he’s more of cook and he wouldn’t actually mind not being one but rift with zoro. But then there was a scene where usopp went through 100 patterns to return in water7 saga and one of those was vice-captain. Thoughts?
