I just leased this car yesterday. I got the deal, although the dealership, as is typical with dealerships in the U.S., tried to charge a somewhat higher price, but persistence paid off and I ended up paying $212.00/month for a two-year lease with 12,000 miles per year. I did have to pay $1800 up front, which included the first month's payment and other fees. The total after two years, all the payments and fees, will come to about $7,500.00 which includes a $400 "return fee" when you return the vehicle and decide not to buy it after the term ends. In the U.S. it also includes two years of free charging at Electrify America for up to 30 minutes of charging per day, so basically free power for the car for two years. I got the SE, which is rear wheel drive, 225 hp, and can run up to 360 miles on a full charge, though that's in ideal conditions and in mixed use of city and highway driving. So far it's seems to be a very nice car, plenty fast, very smooth and quiet, almost a luxury car type ride. It's my first electric car and it makes my old gas cars seem primitive by comparison.

I just got back from the dealership where they laughed at the thought that this was real. It's a scam to get people into the dealership. It takes a down payment of $4000 to get this deal in Washington state.

Got this lease deal today in CA. Ioniq 6 SE 360 mile range. The following is the deal breakdown: $1800 down + 24 payments of $258 including tax. $1800 down payment is basically $500 less than the taxes, registration, acquisition cost, doc fees, and all junk fees, which is about $2300. Drive off including first payment was $2058. MSRP is 44K. So, the $239 down and 239 per month checks out: 239 down plus all taxes and fees excluding acquisition cost is about $1800. Total cost over 24 months: $1800 + $258 x 24 = $7992 (about $333 per month) Love the car, so much fun to drive.

@@jamesk7433 Yes, the deal excludes taxes, tags, registration, an of course dealer fees. After some negotiation I ended up paying them $1000 which included the first months lease payment, and the payment ended up being $259 per month for 23 more months. Not exactly what was stated on the website but still a great deal in my opinion. The dealership hit me with some crazy numbers to start with. I got up to leave and they changed their tune so I sat down and negotiated. Probably could have done a little better but I wanted the car.

I called few dealers near me for the $199 deal on Kona EV sel. None of them gave me a quote near the advertised price. Most of them are around 2x (yes 2 times) higher than the advertised fee and blamed fees. I know there are fees and tax, but it can't double the cost of the lease.

I checked it out, here are some fine print: Term: 36 months Due at Signing: $3,499 Mileage Allowance: 30,000 mi MSRP: $43,565 10,000 mi allowance a year is a bit low. Most people drive in the 12,000 to 15,000 range in California.

I have a ''24 SEL AWD. $50K MSRP. $7,500 manufacturer rebate. I was going to do a '23 with even more of a rebate, but they had a stop sale on '23's due to a recall. The dealer gave me more off on the '24 to make the deal comparable. I bought the car for $39K. That was so close to what I was going to pay for a hybrid, I gladly chose EV, instead. So, not those larger price differences between ICE / EV as there was just a few months back.

not even close. Just got the Ioniq 6 lease deal and replaced my previous 2017 vehicle coverage and the payment over 6 months only went up $150 or $25 per month. The problem with your assessment is that car parts in today's environment for models over 6+ years old is starting to increase rapidly as well. Every person needs to do their own due diligence based on their situation.

Well, when I saw this car in person, I felt pics r a lot better as compared to in person, and don't forget pics on their own are far from impressive. Even if I am getting it for free, I wont have it, at least that is how I felt after looking at it in person. My question to hyundai is WHY? Are all designers dead?
