@@Nathan-qv9wu my man. money is relative. this isn't a hard concept - *because* money is relative, for what the c63 amg is, it is cheap. not to mention nobody said the cars were all going to be cheap. reread the title, or take an English class *shrug*
@@Nathan-qv9wu we both know the point of the video isn't about modifying cars though, its about buying cars that already have the power this is stupid also you didn't need to tell me you were taking an English class, its pretty obvious you're a child
@@IdealMediaChannel mainly just the "cheap" power. like you said that price is a steal for 700+ horsepower. but im building a cb7 accord so im not gonna be getting a dodge anytime soon lol
I always had my mind set on buying a gt500, but one day I noticed a black diamond cadillac cts-v sedan got traded into the dealership that I worked at at the time and noticed it had the 6-speed manual and Recaro's options. Needless to say, I settled on buying the CTS-V instead of hunting a good deal on a gt500 and I haven't looked back since.
Im surprised you didnt include cars That could get over 500 horse power with a single mod adjustment. Like my 2016 Mustang GT. Change fuel filter and added a CAI/ Exhaust and a tune. Bought the Mustang for 23K with 30k miles. Spent 3500 on mods.
Obv! It goes 190 sometime mph in a *FREAKING STICK SHIFT OBVIOUSLY THAT IS THE CHOICE!* (no hate intended I just love the C6 zo6 and the c7 zo6 so muchhhhh)
You could always get a 4 banger for 5-10k and throw another 5k in it and turn it into a 500hp monster. My focus st is at 450 right now because I need to get a new clutch before I can bump up the boost, but the car with me in it weighs 3157. Thing beats mustangs and stock ZL1s. It’s fun being in a little 4 door hatch named betrbob (I have to have the bumper off because it gets too hot) beating rich kids. Definitely fun.
The C63 uses a naturally aspirated 6.2 liter V8. Not the supercharged 5.5 liter from the previous generations AMG cars. I own a C63, and the M156 engine is a masterpiece. It’s the first engine that AMG developed in house from ground up. When it came out it was the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 ever.
I just got a 2014 CTS-V sport and i love it. The previous owner had the motor rebulit. So shes pushing over 500 and hearing the twin turbos kick in is like music. Body wise it needs some work but all in good time.
My parent’s (Lake Muskoka) neighbour’s son (a lawyer) had a Dinan 5-series. So impressive! Later he graduated to an Alpina B7 (F1 - new!). I believe both had over 500 h.p.! I love any big luxury cars. But who can afford either the deprecated values or the maintenance? His first depreciation on his Alpina was more than the price of my ‘87 Carrera cab. That’s insane! I want one so bad. (I’m either a hypocrite or retarded). Thanks for another video Brad, and have another great weekend (with Y-tube girlfriend).
I personally think U forgot bout da 2016 Chevrolet SS wit 505hp Which is 1 of my favorites Even though it replaces da Pontiac G8 GT Firehawk Which came with the Supercharger
@@Gone_rn there are better cars there newer and cheaper to fix (parts) but i pick c63 for the brand and it is cool ! For example if u say i have AMG u get attention and if u say i have alfa romeo or shelby they will say what are those !?and i really love german car they are my favorite cars from all around the world except Ferrari
Tge 2017-2021 ZL1s have an LT4 from the C7 Z06. But the one with the LSA was the 2012-2015 that you were talking about. The 2012-2015 has 580HP. But the 2017-2021 has 650
It’s still a hellcat lol. The name of it is “dodge SRT hellcat redeye”. It’s just more suped up version of the original hellcat. Then after the hellcat redeye you have the demon.
great video , but no one ever mentions that the 507 is actually the cheaper Black series C62 without the wing now for the comparrison between the Pagani huayra and Zonda using the AMG engine and people saying you can buy a v12 Mercedes and its the same , well no its not Pagani completely changes the motor from top to bottom so no theres no Mercedes SL 65 owner that can say , "oh I have the same engine as a Pagani " not true so if Jimbo from savage garage says it one more time my head will explode
I see your point, but your Camry is not over 500 hp. These cars are cheap in their league. A brand new 911 would cost double, a Ferrari would cost over 200K used (458 or 488)
I have always loved the guilia but the quard... Whatever is way expensive..... But the hellcat is one of my favorite cars because of the engine sound esp supercharged
Hey guys anyone that wants a M5 don’t be scared of Reliability issues like the rod bearings. Turns out I did some digging and the oil BMW recomends is too thick so the oil can run freely in the engine causing the rod bearings to fuck up. If you pick up a M5 try to rebuild the block they came from the factory with kinda weak blocks. Also you change your oil type. You can use Redline 5w50 oil it’s thinner so it flows better and your rod bearings get less worn. My uncle has a M5. That’s how I know
Mustang enough room for long comfortable drives, I knew someone who worked at Dodge & Main Seal break, Dad was the Chevrolet Fan, & took his car, saw 2 brand new at the time C6 Corvettes less than 2,000 miles one the bottom end removed as well as heads, & the other Transmission had broke. This occurs because owners don't break it in and go straight the race track. Camaro visibility, & room suffer as well as un padded arm rest air vents too low. Like the Viper though, she bites the wallet
The car you missed in the 500hp club is the awsome first gen MB CLS 63 AMG. This car has 505 naturally aspirated HP from the folks at AMG, no turbos and no supercharger, just good ole V8 hp, from the std farm in Stuttgart. I own one and love it. Check it out. And thanks for the best performance car channel on RU-vid... It is in a word, IDEAL!
Just a couple of details.......Huayra is a turbo V12, not supercharged and C63 isn't force fed but normally aspirated. I have a 2013 C63 sedan and with a Eurocharged tune it'll have 540hp. C6 Z06 is next.......for the track. I'll be driving the GT500 at Sears Point today......GT500 Track Tour. Too bad they're going to rein us in with lead/follow.
The C63 isnt a 5.5 liter v8, its 6.3l, the displacement is in the name, that's for every mercedes model too. No disrespect, just friendly feedback and a very interesting fact. I have Mercedes E550 which is a 5.5L V8
@thorzes4343 yas I do still have it , but I'm selling it currently, threw these years it costed me 15k in maintnance, plus the mars paint ain't holding up, too much head ache, I prefer my 1992 968 safari , thinking bout switching to type r , gr corolla, or gr86 trueno, will see tho ,I like going to track and have some fun , with the benz yeah it's fun but u allways thing what expansive part will brake next
